Nah, Haze happens only to games that are labeled Halo killers. Its some sort of curse really.
There's another key factor, the phone models, operating systems and operating system versions make developing games such as Uncharted for such platform close to impossible.
where as lower production values can easily be ported to as many platforms humanly possible.
Yes, in TES series but this was more of a general response to stats and character/gear building.
Recent Fallout games for example (also known as oblivion with guns) had this. Those games could still be completed relatively easy even if your character build would suck.
Why the hell would Playstation vita STREAM gameplay from Ps3? Vita already has more than enough power itself so it doesn't need to stream image it could RUN things.
Think of Game sharing, not the laggy remote play of PSP.
Vita/Ps3 combo actually has plenty of benefits over WiiU thanks to it being a separate system.
Same here, there's just something in that where you get your ass handed over in the first hours in to the game and slowly get the hang of how the stats and all that work.
Then its all about what kind of builds, gear/spell/weapon combinations you could do with it.
Games that allow Jack of all trades, master of all characters just don't feel as fun and often lack tons of replay value.
I pity Kojima, he probably has bunch of wacky and funny ideas for Games but all people talk about is MGS that MGS this.
I hope his big announcement has nothing to do with MGS, the HD ports of the Ps2/psp MGS games and Rising are enough MGS for now.
Smartphones have their own problems when it comes to gaming. Different phones, models, operating systems, operating system versions make developing hardcore games for such platform real pain.
And while phones become more and more powerful, not everyone is willing to buy a new 500€ smartphone on a yearly basis.
Then there's this problem called "lack of buttons" and analog sticks for majority of the phones. There are plenty of genres which just do...
Well if they can't hit the sweet spot within 250-350€ with the "current" hardware it may be for the better. The price needs to be Competitive against 3DS so developers don't need to wait 2-3 years for worthwhile install base.
But hardware might loose some of its longevity tough, so its all in the tactics.
Actually looking forward for this, yes its just a port but considering not everyone has a psp so I see nothing wrong with HD versions of the games.
Consoles do not limit the size of the game, graphical quality maybe, and possibly things going on the screen at once.
But the biggest world map is still on Daggerfall, which doesn't really need a super computer to run it properly. As for this generation, its probably Just Cause2 which plays really well on Ps3 and X360.
Personally I like how consoles pretty much force the developers to actually invent new methods and technology to get more out from less p...
Most likely there are such laws in most countries, just not the methods.
Tried using the MotioninJoy driver? works pretty well with that, especially if you are using the emulate X360 controller (oddly some games seem to require this)

Agreed, Killzone3 and Socom4 have had impressive move implementation. Just finding the right setting in both games is often problematic (don't like the default settings)
For me having high turning speed and low cursor sensitivity (helps keep aim steady) seems to fit the best. But as for accuracy, definitely above normal controller but movement takes a bit practice.
hopefully even more fps and 3rd person shooters start supporting move.
How Iceland fares with imports? I mean in Nordic countries there are plenty of people buying games from UK to avoid the higher prices (although here some order them tax-free trough Åland)
I don't really see a point in making God of war 4. But God of war themed spin-offs are fine in my books.
I don't see how these harm already great trilogy (or pentalogy if you count the Psp games) as long as the developers make clear enough that they are not sequels.
God of war has this nice setting and I see no reason not to use it in games, books or movies. It doesn't even need to be hack and slash, it could even be an rpg.
I'm on my second. My 60gb didn't really die tough it works pretty well even now. But the laser broke and the system doesn't read discs that well anymore.(lasted for nearly 4 years tough)
Playing on Slim now and its nice and quiet.
Sony should really improve the durability of their disc drive lasers tough. It always seems to be the first thing to break in all Sony devices that use disc.
Dunno about any other compensation, but as a PlayStation plus member I would like to have additional week added to my subscription time.
Haven't really managed to enjoy the full plus benefits PSN being down and all.
But yes I am a bit disappointed to see how Sony let the hackers get my personal data.
However the fact that PSN isn't the first place to leak my personal data and I have already had to change my credit card 2 times in the past this...
At least in oblivion and Morrowind, getting to even level 50 takes pretty long. Even longer if you wan't to max out your attributes.
But then again you are pretty much a god after lvl 40 or so with decent gear. Only thing that can really kill you is falling damage.
Using Chrome as well, can't wait to check out the upcoming chromium laptops.
As for the news is question.
Sony seems to be in pretty good terms with Google lately. Seeing how they are putting android to their xperia phones and upcoming tablets I don't see that this would be impossible.
Google seems to be expanding their products and services rapidly to all sorts of devices. This makes Sony with all their home entertainment devices inv...
Sony won't do Ps2 emulation. I tough the HD versions of God of war, Splinter Cell, Prince of persia series was more than enough to show this.
But I don't really mind getting me some reasonably priced HD upgrades of these series especially since they seem to come in these juicy collection boxes including 2-3 games.
