DRIVECLUB is not on PC.
Infamous: Second Son and First Light are not on PC.
I could go on and on, but an EXCLUSIVE is only on one platform. PS4 exclusives are ONLY on PS4.
I do not see why Sony wouldn't give handhelds another look when the market settles down. When Sony knows what the market and gamers want they will likely try again. Not now though the market is hostile and Switch isn't doing as great as everyone thinks. Where are Nintendo's latest sales figures?
The good news is that Switch projections from Nintendo haven't shrunk yet. When or if that happens Nintendo might be in trouble.

I would have agreed, but the issues of FPS aren't exclusively down to hardware. Hitting 60 or higher framerates is all about compromise and power and is usually more of a software thing than a hardware problem. Why? Because the people who make the software dictate framerate even on PC... Don't believe me? Check out Need For Speed: Rivals on PC... It was locked to 30FPS and the PC community went mad trying to unlock the games FPS.... They eventually did but the side-effect made the gam...

If framerates are stable and over 29FPS then throw as many visuals you want into my eyeballs. Many people say "60FPS makes for a better competitive experience."

Just think about this for a second: if the game is on consoles and played only between other console owners, how does one have an FPS advantage when everyone is playing the game at the same FPS?

They keep ignoring simple truths. Phones do 720p 1080p and higher resolutions at 60FPS at the cost of visual fidelity - not that phones could compete with PS4 or even the weaker XO.
What really blows my mind is how mobile has outpaced Switch.
Minecraft runs at a higher FPS and resolution with a farther draw distance... Does that mean Mobile phones can run any game Switch can better? There is no clear way to know...
The original is a mobile phone game... It's not even close to being a simulation either.
I mean hey maybe the Switch version will try to be a sim, but I sincerely doubt it.

If Switch continues to sell 1 Million units a month it will not catch PS4. At these rates it wouldn't even outselling PS4 in aligned sales charts.
If A is not selling more goods in the same amount of time as B, then A will not outsell B in the same timeframe.

Minecraft is popular. But people seem to be forgetting that MS are killing MC:Java Edition to push Windows 10 sales and Minecraft sales on Windows Store.
Sony isn't the only one being shafted because of Microsoft's acquisition of Minecraft. People on PC are loathing the "disposal" of Java Edition.
Many expected this to happen as soon as MS purchased Minecraft so to Microsoft's credit they took far longer than most expected to screw everything up.
CD Projekt Red is updating The Witcher 3 on PS4 Pro too... In fact developers now have more incentive to update existing titles because of XOX. Almost all games that are seeing updates for XOX will be updated on PS4P.
Not possible for the majority of PCs out there either, but console gamers will never hear the end of it. I blame the likes of DF for the focus on resolution and FPS over better AI and visuals.

Gravity Rush wasn't an RPG but it's world was pretty large. Borderlands 2 is an RPG (not sure if it was open world though).
