I partially agree. You don't have to be a pro-league gamer to review content, but game reviews are likely affected by reviews ability to play. When they suck at the game they're reviewing they are probably less likely to give a unbiased review.
OMG! WHY!?
You MS fanboys know what that means...
XOX is doomed to fail! Michael "Pac-Man" Pachter has spoken and just jinxed the X into oblivion!!!
Probably...
I mean he is almost always freaking wrong honestly i have no clue how he is still employed at this point.
@Msdice
Did you even read what you linked to?
"About seventy percent of women who served in the military during World War II held traditionally "female" jobs. They worked as typists, clerks, and mail sorters. Although these jobs may have been less glorified that those of the men fighting on the front lines, women were essential in maintaining the bureaucratic mechanisms that are necessary in warfare. Also, by filling office jobs that would otherwise ...
The likes of Samsung's and Sony's latest phones already give the Switch a run for its money.
Minecraft runs better on my S8 in a higher resolution with farther draw distance and much wider FoV too.
Hopefully more devs will take greater advantage of mobile tech now that mobile CPU's and GPU's have become much more efficient. I can probably game longer on my phone than Switch too even with all the extra fixings and multitasking.
Me too!
Plus when developers figure out how to best optimize these effects they can scale up.
But them PC guys say consoles hold gaming back... From what?
@WilliamSheridan
Was WipEout: Omega Collection with it's native 4K 60FPS and HDR not enough?
Does Minecraft count?
Hmm.
Maybe maybe not. Vita had it's share of open world 3D action games and RPGs. Of course if you're interested in the spectacle and performance then Switch wins... But scale?
Gravity Rush wasn't an RPG but it's world was pretty large. Borderlands 2 is an RPG (not sure if it was open world though).
Curious.
Also infinite worlds in MC were on Mobile for a long time and that world is larger than Skyrim too... So even outside of Vita larger wo...
A PS4 exclusive doesn't appear on PC. Uncharted 4 is not on PC.
Ratchet and Clank is not on PC.
DRIVECLUB is not on PC.
Infamous: Second Son and First Light are not on PC.
I could go on and on, but an EXCLUSIVE is only on one platform. PS4 exclusives are ONLY on PS4.
I do not see why Sony wouldn't give handhelds another look when the market settles down. When Sony knows what the market and gamers want they will likely try again. Not now though the market is hostile and Switch isn't doing as great as everyone thinks. Where are Nintendo's latest sales figures?
The good news is that Switch projections from Nintendo haven't shrunk yet. When or if that happens Nintendo might be in trouble.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss did this as well.
I have some screen caps from the game... Unfortunately Vita makes transferring screenshots very difficult.
You can't expect Canadians to get this kind of study right with Trudeau in office!
Surprised not many have mentioned this one
The Last Guardian is my personal pick for many reasons.
Haven't played that hipster looking Life Is T --
I mean Strange!
Played Journey and it was a good romp and a bit emotional at the end. Beyond: Two Souls was also pretty emotional and a lot of people don't understand it which is fine...
Buuuut!
The Last Guardian is on another level. The emotions hit hard when you fi...
I would have agreed, but the issues of FPS aren't exclusively down to hardware. Hitting 60 or higher framerates is all about compromise and power and is usually more of a software thing than a hardware problem. Why? Because the people who make the software dictate framerate even on PC... Don't believe me? Check out Need For Speed: Rivals on PC... It was locked to 30FPS and the PC community went mad trying to unlock the games FPS.... They eventually did but the side-effect made the gam...
And I for one see no problems with this.
If framerates are stable and over 29FPS then throw as many visuals you want into my eyeballs. Many people say "60FPS makes for a better competitive experience."
Really? How???
Just think about this for a second: if the game is on consoles and played only between other console owners, how does one have an FPS advantage when everyone is playing the game at the same FPS?
Obviously everyone is dealing with the ...
Exactly and I'm sick of people thinking otherwise.
They keep ignoring simple truths. Phones do 720p 1080p and higher resolutions at 60FPS at the cost of visual fidelity - not that phones could compete with PS4 or even the weaker XO.
What really blows my mind is how mobile has outpaced Switch.
Minecraft runs at a higher FPS and resolution with a farther draw distance... Does that mean Mobile phones can run any game Switch can better? There is no clear way to know...
The original is a mobile phone game... It's not even close to being a simulation either.
I mean hey maybe the Switch version will try to be a sim, but I sincerely doubt it.
@instantstupor
What a fitting name!
Love how you (alleged) "PC guys" somehow simply can not see that MS monopolizes the PC gaming market!
It's just all so hilarious how "free" you think you are to leave them and play Leauge or Battlefield or Eve or the latest Doom... Maybe in the next 15 years? But right now, well your options are Windows 7, 8 and 10.
Have a great day!
@343_Guilty-Spark
LOL at disagrees.

You're pretty close but the down vote mob can't be arsed to perform a cursory search to disprove your statements.
That said according to the official Microsoft link above Windows 10 starts at $119 and costs as much as $199 USD MSRP.
Anyone who downvotes this comment between...
