@Jingsing
PS also released games on PC way back in the 90s. Not sure they were day and date then, but most aren't day and date now. I agree PS didn't need to do it and you are one of the few people who also recognizes these games aren't selling well on PC either. PC gamers are pirates first and foremost. The PC audience is more than 7 times larger than the entire current-gen console market and yet the global game revenue on PC is mostly relegated to F2P microtransactions....
PlayStation was first to allow cross play back in the PS2 era with games like Final Fantasy Online between PS2 and PC. PS reintroduced cross play between different PlayStation console generations PS2, PSP, PS3, and PS Vita. That was all well before Xbox started allowing crossplay in the Xbox One era between Xbox consoles and PCs to bolster Microsoft's online engagement numbers.
This has less to do with Capitalism and more to do with simple greed.
Capitalism is an economic system.
Greed is the want of money.
The current global market including Communist markets and other economic systems are all plugged into the wider monetary trade which has NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH ANY ECONOMIC SYSTEM. You can blame Americans or the Western world at large for the utter ridiculousness of chasing endless growth of wealth. However the monetary trade has not...
Race: think "breed".
Species: think dog or cat.
NO ONE says and very very few truely idiotic bigots believe humans from different parts of the world or who look sufficiently different from eachother in any individuals opinion are a different species.
That said... if you think Inuits and Filipinos don't have general biological differences that benefit them in their own unique ways, then it is truely safe to say that you do not understand what ...
People didn't complain when Adbox 360 was created... or when Adbox One hit store shelves... they should've been complaining over a decade ago before these fullscreen ads started becoming more "normal".
Anti-piracy measures. Software cracking isn't getting easier, it's getting harder.
It's also the reason PS feels more comfortable releasing games on PC to start with. After they made their cash on PS5 and PC they release on GOG. There are only 3 PS games on GOG's store; Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. 2 of the 3 total games were added in November of 2023.
To my knowledge there are no cracked versions of The...
Lol what freedom?
Can't game on just any PC it has to be a Windows PC or a heavily software modified Linux PC. No MAC gaming no general machine gaming. The walled garden on PC is Windows. Grow up and recognize your one true master...
Microsoft.
The XMB was a nice UI.
It was fast and neat. The only knock against it that makes sense to me is that you couldn't rearrange the columns in an order that best suited you as an end user.
PS4's UI is very similar in function to the PS3 UI and PS5's is pretty similar to PS4's UI.
PS/One and PS2's UI were also pretty similar to each other. The largest UI divergence was with either PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. No matter which of those th...
PS did this in the 90s.
I know you are too young to know that.
It's easy when you have the game's source code. Not so easy when you don't.
I have... probably.
The game?
MSFS 2020.
More like HUMAN society. Nudity in games in many countries is actually clamped down on harder than in the US and much of the westernized world.
@hduce
As part of sales that came and went... yes, PS did temporarily reduce the price of PS5 during black friday and at other points over the past year and a half these sales are typically $50-80.
Xbox is cutting Series X's price by nearly twice the largest PS5 discounts because Xbox Series X is not performing well and while MS has not admitted this we can safely infer this due to MS' poor Xbox Series X sales numbers which were leaked earlier this year by ...
At retail you only see wholesale prices. PS3 was sold at a loss to retailers you would never know what PS3 cost to manufacture if PS didn't let that slip (and I don't think we ever really knew whT PS3 cost PS to manufacture).
That all said. Yeah, bleedsoe9mm clearly doesn't know that retailers bought Xbox Series X consoles at $360 a pop and are selling them at $150 now per MS and also simply to liquidate stock of slow moving product that they won't likely be...

Game Pass hasn't gained traction even on Xbox
In a world with remote access...
That is not possible.
What I am saying is everyone has to go back to those offices that everyone has been conditioned to hate post-pandemic to have that kind of network security. Data will stay on site and the game code will be insolated from the world wide internet.
Fuse launched simultaneously on PS3 and Xbox 360. I was there launch day.
Disney doesn't even own the rights to some of these characters.

These MS games will not sell that well on PSN. I am personally interested in HiFi Rush but that would've been on PS5 day one if MS didn't buy Tengo. Outside of that... I don't care. Nothing MS has is interesting me or most other people so unless HiFi Rush sells ten times more units than Minecraft, I'm guessing this won't even slow the sinking ship that is Xbox.
