Personally, any mainline Zelda game, major or minor, consistently captures my time like few others series can. A Link to the Past and subsequent games of the 3D variety tend to be main course offerings, whereas I see the handheld offerings as more like a side salad, but all of the above are amazing enough that I certainly enjoy that side salad more than some main courses in other franchises. We might still be waiting that long or likely longer. I’m expecting Starfield to be alright, but not the monumental, generation-defining game it’s being hyped up to be.
There has been a stark difference between them every gen, at least since late into the 360’s lifecycle. MS just decided to double down on being a cancer lately rather than attempting to find a cure.

Huh? By what metric, and what evidence is there to suggest that? Sales of the PS5 have been strong in spite of the alleged “game of the generation” not being available in it.
