What haven’t certain groups of people cast doom over PlayStation over? I think if there’s a slight breeze outside, certain people will think PlayStation is doomed. I do recall the debacle with Sony leaving E3, but forgive me for thinking the PlayStation doom and gloom BS to be spouted over that was unremarkable when compared to all the other BS reasons PlayStation has allegedly been “doomed” for decades.

Yep, I knew MS were bad news when they tried to push DRM. They’ve always wanted to control the means of distribution. Of course, they had to learn the hard way that they have to be more subtle.
One back door to implementing DRM without backlash is to just push a service, and have games tied to that service, then slowly but surely put more and more into that service and shift your focus towards it, then market the heck out of it and pay off the right people to get the indu...

Eh…I wouldn’t go that far. The MCU has certainly brought more and more heroes into the spotlight, so Black Panther is certainly more well-known now than they were, but X-Men is a long-established household name with or without the MCU.
The potential exists for a whole Insomniac Marvel Videogame Universe, or MVU. As long as the games are good, I’m cool with whatever choices they make regarding which heroes to focus on.

Actually, you’re not far off. CV was actually in development first iirc, and was originally going to be RE3, with the 3 we got originally going to have a subtitle name. As we all know, that’s not actually how things worked out, but I do believe CV was originally intended to be RE3.
I left Xbox a long time ago, and I don’t much care for services. Between Sony, Nintendo and PC (complete with Steam, EGS and GoG accounts, though Steam is my preferred of the three) I feel all set. I even recently invested in an Evercade EXP as a side novelty.

Why not have it as an unlockable suit option? If Insonmiac does with this game like they did with Spider-Man, expect a lot of suit options, so you can go with whatever one you like.
Devs should just make the PS5 the lead platform. That way, if the S proves problematic it will just be a problem for the Xbox port. Problem solved.
