I'm still unsure whether this is heresy or something beyond awesome. I suppose if a Jesus action figure could exist, why not a game? The guy I was talking to, who's the son of a pastor, said it sounds like heresy when I described it to him. I'm tempted to try it for myself though.
I agree.
I enjoyed Man of Medan, but I haven't checked this one out yet. I guess I should remedy that.
I do think handhelds are great for classic-style games, so why not CRPGs? The Switch is definitely ideal for that.
It's coming to PS4 and PS5 too, and I'm super stoked! The only problem is, I'll relapse into my Isaac addiction that took forever to kick. There's even a huge expansion coming to Four Souls that I'm backing on Kickstarter.
I’ve been trying to get back into playing JRPGs lately. With the recent release of Persona 5 Strikers, I finally decided to start playing Royal. I don’t know if I can make the time for just any JRPG though, and Persona games are always an experience and a half.
I’ve never heard of them, but I’m intrigued.
Interesting. I may check this out when it’s released.
MS regularly irks me with their tendency to push services over games, as well as buying studios just to keep games off of other systems rather than contributing to the industry in a meaningful way...but at least they've never pulled something like even so much as planning to put out the Master Chief Collection for 6 months, then making it completely unavailable for purchase outside of the second-hand market and scalpers.
Who buys a game system to play games? Oh wait...
Even Sony's cockiness at that time was blown way out of proportion. I hate how hypocritical this industry has become.
Because Nintendo fans are the biggest hypocrites. I for one am not one of those hypocrites. I'll call out Sony and MS for their bad practices, and I'll call out Nintendo for stuff like this, especially since this is worse than anything even MS has done IMHO.
Really? My friend needs to know about this.
I'm surprised they're not releasing this as a physical product. That sounds like just the kind of thing that would sell millions upon millions. I wouldn't buy it, but I'm sure plenty of people would...and probably not just kids and parents of kids either.
I've always felt these games were at least slightly overrated. Apparently, they sell so well that Activision thinks they're worth limiting how many other games one can have...or buying additional HDD space to compensate. To that I say good day. If I'm going to waste that much space on a game, it had better be god-tier...and I'm of the unpopular opinion that CoD games aren't that.
I like when games like Persona 5 use writer's dodge to explain them, but for the most part, they don't make a ton of sense. Then again, you could really just attribute them to the fact that doors and walls of safe rooms are made out of that special indestructible wood that could stand up to a nuclear explosion. That magical wood is the thing that makes no sense.
I'd love another Sly Cooper game too, but I've since moved on. Sony has provided plenty of other great games over the years. I'll be there with bells if a Sly 5 were to get announced, so don't get me wrong, but that is just one of many series I've enjoyed over the years.
As for this State of Play...I confess I didn't actually know they were having one. I used to be on top of this stuff, but for some reason I haven't been lately.
I agree, except Reggie was the president of the NA branch. He certainly had more influence than the head of a regional branch normally would, but he was still not the actual company head. Most of the changes we've seen lately, I attribute to the passing of Iwata, and the new management that has taken over since in the main headquarters in Japan.
Bruh, you'd better hope Nintendo doesn't get in on charging $70USD for their games...because that is the price you will have to pay for them six months, a year, even five years or more down the road. At least when other companies do it, you will eventually be able to get the game for a lot less.
Have you read the Gospel? If certain parts of that are included here, there will already be nudity. Of course, it's equally possible that those scenes won't be included in this game in the interest of keeping it clean. I guess we will find out whether it covers the entire breadth of Jesus's ministry or just some select parts of it. Of course, it's equally possible this will be largely fanfic, since I don't recall Jesus ever actually fighting a demon...at least not in a...
