Hey, if you need a bionic arm, may as well get one with style. That is pretty lit though.

Dicks. That's not only a waste of the court's time, but time and staffing costs money. I'm so glad I don't live in that country, let alone that region, because to my understanding, the courts are funded by taxpayers and I sure as heck wouldn't want to know that my taxpayer dollars were being squandered because someone in the courts has to look at this case. Hopefully they have the good sense to throw it out before it gets to a judge, because if it goes before one, I fee...

Now that's what I call record engagement.

Some of these games aren't even Japanese, so I don't know what they have to do with Golden Week, but whatevs, I suppose. That said, I think I'll save my money for the time being.

You realize that "record engagement" was just a PR statement, right, and not paired with any metric whatsoever? Also missing from that statement: any comparison whatsoever to PS5 "engagement". So, where are you drawing your conclusions?

I’m glad I already own most of them. I’ll definitely get the last couple outstanding ones digitally. The bulk of them are on PS3 though, so I guess it’s a good thing I’ve kept mine around for just such an occasion.

Jump scares are one of those things that can be done well, or not so well. Call me cynical but I no longer subscribe to the notion that if something startled me, I’m scared of that thing. That faulty jack in the box in the movie Elf startled me the first time I saw that film. That doesn’t mean I’m afraid of jack in the boxes. That’s also why I don’t actually think FNaF is scary.

But, I’m also not one to write something off entirely, especially if it can be done well. I...

Agreed. Not everything has to have a gritty-“realistic” look to it. Heck, I’m not entirely sure I want to see a realistic rendering of what Ratchet would look like if he existed IRL. Some fan effort to that end probably exists but I’m not Googling that.

With all seriousness though, with any luck we will see a resurgence of these kinds of games. I like the standard AAA fare too, especially the efforts by Sony, but I also like variety, and games like this really take me b...

I’m planning on doing a playthrough of the entire Ratchet and Clank series up to this point, and finishing with this game. Yes, I’m insane, but I fully expect to enjoy it.

I'd recommend it.

Now that you mention it, yeah, I guess they are mostly indie. Well, that or Japanese...or both. I was looking forward to Returnal regardless, but now you've highlighted one key way in which it differs from a typical roguelike.

I'm glad that more and more games from around the world in general are seeing the light of day. I love the great games we have gotten over the years from countries such as the US/Canada, UK and Japan, but there are plenty of countries out there with their own unique folklore, history and culture. Other countries produce books, movies, etc. Why not games? Obviously, there's a reason for that, but with the rise of the indie market, maybe we will continue to see more and more release...

It's satire, bruh. The headline isn't serious. The author recognizes it's subjective, and not actually based on science. FYI, I've never read a scholarly study where the preview, or any part of it really, that says "That means it can't be wrong, right?" If you click the link it's immediately obvious the intention of this piece isn't to settle anything, scientifically or otherwise. It's just an opinion piece that makes no pretense about being anyt...

I haven't heard of this game but it looks pretty neat. Maybe I'll check it out.

It really comes down to what kind of gamer you are, and a service like this is designed for a certain type of gamer. If you aren't concerned about collecting games, just want to get your fill of as many games as possible, and are consistently moving from one game to the next without looking back, then I can understand why you might be praising Gamepass from the rooftops.

If you're the type who has limited time per month to dedicate to playing games and may only p...

I'm just glad I can once again have the whole series in one place. I already have this on the 3DS, but I've since moved over to the Switch, which has received the newer entries, and I just like having as much of a series as possible on the fewest systems possible.

Nice! I've been sorely missing my Ace Attorney fix since Spirit of Justice, so I'm glad these are finally getting localized. Of course I'm sure I'll be burning through them quite quickly, but I still look forward to getting that small fix, and there are two games here to sink my teeth into. Apparently we're getting it physically on Switch too, which is fantastic.

Nah bruh. I'll agree that they're better at marketing titles that aren't necessarily top-tier than their Japanese contemporaries (garbage is a bit harsh), but the Americans have them beat in that regard. EA, Ubisoft and Activision, among others promote literal trash all the time. Also, why would you use a well-regarded classic as the thumbnail? I'd recommend using some actual trash if you want to start your argument off on the right foot.

Wow, this is great news! I guess our voices really can be heard if we make it known we're not satisfied with a particular development. I'm still going to continue purchasing games that interest me and which won't be available once the relevant storefronts are discontinued, as I can't count on them staying up forever, but I guess I can do so more gradually (and I should definitely focus on PSP stuff in the more immediate future). I'll take whatever small victories we can...
