lol, im not shocked. not really gonna look any diff if the only thing is the resolution. plus if upscaling is handled correctly (XB1 has good scaler) than it should be fine..especially on a 50" or below at 4 feet back or more. I'm getting ps4 but will continue to play cod on xb1. everyone just relax.
all things point to xbox one selling very, very well. PS4 will sell more prob first year but I think it will even out to some extent. most firms believe this as well. either way, most units are accounted for in the first few months and both will sell more closely than expected. even if ps4 outsells it 2:1, xbox will still be doing just fine. And dont forget, this article means "combined sales". you'll see man, you'll see
yay, math! I get it but I feel that MS ponied up the cash to give respawn what they needed for their new IP. EA does not own the IP and so maybe that has something to do with the desire to find ome outside investment in the IP (let MS pay tons of cash and if the game hadn't worked out then EA takes less of a hit). You can bet that by the second time around when the brand is established...no way they are staying exclusive. till then i'll be going hard this march on the xbox one sonny j...
Once the tech is widely avail. w/out having to drop too much $ (like w/ dedicated gaming tablets), maybe. Even then, some one needs to find a solution for the controls. If the controls were good then i could see myself playing some older ps/x360 games while i wait at the dr or sit on the train.
you need to be scolded for that hahah
I really wanna grab this bundle but i cant lay out the cash up front. wish best buy had it so i could throw it on my bb card, or gamestop so i could just reserve it for 100. oh well, nothing i really "need" from ps4 at launch (second son is the first must have for me). amped for my xbox one day 1, and i hope come spring i will be able to walk into a store and grab my ps4. Should give me something else to look forward to. so psyched for next gen brah!
this is the stuff that makes me laugh. zooming in on hair nap to see the diffs. there is no denying ps4 has the edge this gen, shit they pretty much had it last gen but just for 1st party. anyway, my point is the same one ive been making for a while now...that at least in the case of multiplat, the diff is one you will need to sort of "nit pick" to really find. Most people wont have them side by side and its not gonna be that serious. Now 1st parties will deff have a much clearer ad...
haha ok i am getting both but i am getting xbone 1st. the ps4 deff looks better, but at least judging from this vid, deff not a significant diff. w.e. idk, ps4 has more raw power so what do ya expect. not surprised about this at all. i think ill be playing online games on my xbox still, but i am very excited to see what the 1st party sony devs bring our way next year. clearly they will make some shit that will blow your tits off
I knew this would come up. I know what they are capable of, but the 360 launch is what leads me to think they would at least learn their lesson with that type of thing. They do not have a 1 year lead as a buffer for all their issues this time. but what i really meant was that i do not see how MS could drop this system with these types of issues (even if it's just a few weeks or so) and expect to remain even close to sony going forth. I know i for one will drive to gamestop in reverse at 4...
IDC what anyone says. I am amped for this game. CoD is always fluid and fun. Other games feels too slow for my taste (opinion is opinion). But the dedicated servers, extinction/squads, and eventual next-gen upgrades will make this a much better CoD than the last 2 (MW3/BLOPS2). Plus looks like they are opening the maps up again and I think this game will feel like a more well balanced, upgraded MW2. I'll be in pajamas all day nov. 5
So we are now supposed to believe that when xbox one launches, we will not be able to make use of any of the basic social features? Let's be real here...if it were truly this bad, MS new it long ago, and i doubt even they would release a system that simply doesnt work. They wouldnt wreck their image as the leader in online gaming. this is about as true as my 13 inch huang
What a poorly written and biased article. It's not that none of the points are valid, but more that it seems like a fanboy trying to reinforce old, well-known concerns in the wake of much progress. I went in to this expecting maybe a decent read, but no. That's my issue with this site: there is no clear distinction between real news and BS or Well written/supported opinions and high school-level fanboy rants.
I agree, it may be fun to speculate a little but to get all up in arms over rumors is just silly. Besides, neither Sony or IW has confirmed 1080p for ps4, EXCEPT for back in june when they confirmed it for both consoles. So, sure there are rumors, and yes IGN did confirm 1080p for their ps4 build, it is safe to say that for now, there isn't any good reason to add fuel to the fire.
????????...????...???? are you here on earth with us?
Don't forget SONY is only one company out of a group which researched and developed blu-ray. It is not just their tech. It was more well backed.
Both consoles cap at 500 and will require a purchase to get more storage. Main diff is that xbox one will require an external drive while ps4 lets you take thee 500 out and replace it outright. I'd rather it be replaceable, but hooking up external shouldn't be a huge deal.
Look, unless you are just a flat out fanboy,no one wants this to be true. Honesly, I want titanfall to exceed 720, but that game does seem to push hardware further than CoD. now Ghosts on the other hand, I really do not see how the xbox one does not have at least enough power to hit 1080 for that game. Nothing real special graphically and the specs would seem capable. If this game really runs 720p, my guess would be development and driver issues more than hardware. Either way, when IW said 10...
Not about to get into too much detail, but there are a number of games which have run at 1080p/60 frames on PC (I know it is not quite the same) with about the same amount of ddr3 ram as in the xbox one. There's no doubting that 8gb GDDR5 is better, but for many of these games, the xbox one hardware should get the job done.
You are correct, people with a PC can indeed get titanfall. That being said, I think the vast majority of people saying "derp, ya can get it on PC, schnarf!" do not in fact own a gaming PC. I know many people may have a PC and then grab a console, but mostly it is just one side of the fanboys trying to take some points away from the other side. Timed exclusive or not, there's no denying that having titanfall first will likely benfit xbox one to some substantial degree.
I get the frustration and i get that the xbox is not as powerful as ps4, but i saw some dopes claiming it isnt next gen. thats just BS, the xb1 deff has enough power to hold its own and make very nice looking games. multiplats will not be all that diff. sony exclusives will continue to push the limits and we will see some great things, but xbox exclusives will looks very nice as well. both are next gen...just that ps4 is a little more future proof. the whole cloud thing should have never bee...
