Sony will piss off a lot of fans if they don't make these simple things mandatory for game inclusion. I personally don't use the ingame music funtion on some games and really could care less about that. I like being able to hear what is going on in the game (ie COD4 when you hear someone moving close around you, etc). But to each his/her own. I would not recommend doing this for an extended period of time. If you do this too long, you can damage the electronics the fan is trying to protect. It is not a flaw in the system that allows this but a programmed response to the increased heat that is rising while the PS3 is inverted.
