Have not seen such whining in my life... Sony told everyone exactly what was going to be in this update. Stop beeotching and get over yourselves. There was no what ifs.... I personally like the changes they added.
That's interesting... I just replaced my kid's old xbox that did the infamous error and I just bought him an arcade since he had his old HDD. It came with an HDMI cable. It works fine on my kid's HDTV.
While Halo is not one of my favorite IP's... it will sell well. Especially since MS is using their old tactic of tacking on a Beta Invite (for another Halo game none the less) with the purchase. Sony should do this from time to time as well. It will undoubtedly sell millions IMO.
Have to disagree with you there. I hear crap like every other game session on both PS3 and 360. Anonymity is the root of most of these problems because people think their is no way to beat them down. Their are other ways to aggravate your opponent than throwing slurs out (unless you are in a closed group of friends who are okay with it).
I agree that it is a derogatory term no matter how it is used. I find it interesting that it is "okay" within a portion of the black community to use that term between themselves. However, anyone else uses it... all hades breaks loose. I can't tell you how many rap songs I hear that have that term in it.
I personally have mixed feelings on this issue. I do find it interesting that some "groups" will yell foul; however, when another "group" yells foul... the others are okay with it. Oh the irony. This unfortunately seems to be the norm for the online "Universe." People feel they have a level of anonymity online and feel that they can say whatever they want whenever they want. Everything is monitored according to one of the moderators. They can pull up everything regarding an "alledged" offending activity and base their decisions on that proof. I like the new aesthetic look of the store. And even better are the load times. Does it really matter who has been researching it longer? The only thing that counts is IMPLEMENTATION. As I have been pointing out (no pun intended) all day is that while the MS new camera is a great start for them... it currently does not allow fine motor control. I would have to agree with the article somewhat. While the 3D mapping ability of the camera is a leap from what Nintendo offers; it currently does little more than Wii Sports. I for one am not interested in casual games of that nature. The control of the NXE dashboard is nice but a little gimmicky. There doesn't appear to be any fine controls which would be needed in a real game. We'll just have to wait and see what MS does with it instead of bashing their idea before it is even released...
Did everyone miss the part where MS said that all your friends could get together and watch the same media? How is MS able to pull this off and Sony ditched it... presumably due to legal issues? It does appear to be an amazing evolution of what Nintendo capitalized on. As responsive as the 3d Mapping technology appears in the demo presentation, I highly doubt that it carries the capability at present to be able to take away the controller from major games. Could be sweet if they could integrate it into the control scheme (3d mapping on the hud, voice commands, etc) in the future. Same here boggle... I haven't played the first or second installments in the series (mainly because I was never a PS fan before the "big 3" came around. Have ordered the first two from Amazon though. Can't do a sequel justice if you haven't played through the entire story. I am psyched for this game though. It looks amazing.
