As of right now, there are only two courses in the game however there are different modes... regular, time attack and slalom which are use the same track; however, the slalom adds the moguls, etc. So, ...there are essentially four. After you get used to the controller... it is actually quite fun. The graphics are great as to be expected and the controller is quite responsive as long as you are not thrashing around with it... You also have the option of online or split screen for local com...
You are paying for ads already... they are for games, silly red.vs.blue content, etc... Every time you turn on the dashboard, they are there... yes, they are still called ads. Will we still pay for LIVE, ... of course we will because MS has us hanging over a cliff which is the case with most of their endeavors.
Couldn't agree with you more... I think it is awesome that Sony is allowing FREE online. It just goes to show that you don't have to charge for online gameplay, etc... as MS does. Yes, I have a 360 and shell out the cash for the online service for two consoles in my household (my son and I)... and I realize that MS currently has a definite headstart on the online gaming arena with more options than PSN currently...but in my opinion, Sony has made leaps and bounds given that there truly was...
This article is a crock. Analysts always trying to start a ruckus to try to get more hits to their website. Sure the 360 has more in development currently... it has been out over a year prior and game development was probably started at that time...games aren't made overnight...some take years. As far as the Wii goes... who cares...it is inferior technology and thus much easier to program for. It is just gathering dust on my shelf currently. After playing Zelda and Metroid...haven't used...
Don't want another Prey cheap tin fiasco. But the game looks awesome.
People are always going to bit*h and moan about something. This is a mute point. They grumbled about the original price of this powerful piece of technology when it first came out (which I didn't think overpriced myself) and now they are moaning about the cheaper version available for those wanting to get into the next gen at a lower cost point. A cheaper price has to come at "price" not to make a pun. It is far too early in the consoles technological life to be able to make it ...
Bubble for ya! It truly is that simple... Didn't see the xbots yelling when MS put out another console with different options... and none of their consoles were 100% compatible with older games.... Mine will play all since it has the Emotion chip. Xbots can't say the same.
Luckily I have had the luxury of getting a PS3 from day one launch. I was not a Sony fan before, so I am just now enjoying those older PS2 games that I missed out on.... It is nice to be able to have a PS2 game to take a break from the PS3 ones... I love my Resistance and Warkhawk, etc... but you can only play so long without needing a break. For the ones saying Sony is going back on their word about 100% BC, they are not... Purchasers still have the option to get a console that has BC if ...
So far, I have only gotten to glance at a few shots of this game and it does look awesome. The mere concept of it is definitely unlike any other open world we have seen yet. However, I hate to put a kink in this article, but even though it must require huge amounts of storage for all the data that could possibly be used in a game of this type, it could be place on multiple discs (don't think I personally would like that though if I had to switch discs mid game, etc...). Not sure how that w...
EA is unfortunately known for unforgivably bad ports... even bad games in general. I have not seen them make a game yet that didn't have noticeable bugs...for any system. Their work for the PS3 however seems to be the worst. A petition will do nothing to them. They are already rated unsatisfactory by the BBB and these guys think they care about someone who shelled out money to support their bad work. I personally have not bought an EA game in years due to this fact. Luckily the upcomin...
Highly unlikely that MS has anything to do with this. I am glad that Epic is taking the time to make sure the game is the best it can be on the PS3. The less flaws it has, the less xbots can rag it (not that that will stop them). If it is delayed until 2008..I would imagine it would be very early 2008 due to the other huge titles coming 2008.
Couldn't agree with you more. The Beta Testing for COD4 was much better than the previous installments. Was lucky enough to get two tokens to play the Beta for most of its availability with my kid and friends. I am eager to get my hands on that game as well; but, I must admit I am more stoked for Unreal Tourn
Couldn't agree with you more Meus I. This game just looks more and more amazing everytime I see more info on it. If it lives up to the hype (and I am hoping it will surpass it), will make me go out and buy another PS3 so I can Multiplayer with my son. Shooters on 360 so far seem to be getting so generic (yes...bioshock was pretty good admittedly...although short...but no online) and tired of MPing COD and GOW on our 2 360's. Wasn't fan of previous Killzone attempts or Sony for that matter...
What kind of dumb response is that??? What has age got to do with being a gamer or a fanboy??? Sure he is an idiot; but, not all older gamers are stupid or geeks. Market research that I have seen shows that most hardcore gamers are included in that age group. I am 37 and gaming all my life. Does that make you a better gamer since you obviously insinuate that you are younger? Not. Besides, us more settled individuals can afford any gaming systems we want and just smile as the younger indi...
Willing to bail so easily? Wouldn't call yourself a fan after comments like that. Price drop? I personally don't think it is warranted for the piece of technology you are getting; however, I realize that that is the world we live in and everyone thinks they should get future technology for a few pennies. I was quite happy paying my measely 600 dollars at launch for my PS3 and have never regretted it. Sure Sony has let some exclusives slide...but for the most part...I think console exclusi...
Don't get me wrong... I love my PS3..(although I hated the PS2 due to a predominant lack of versatile online)... but this guy does have a point. Sony does need to focus on the PSN a little more. It could be so much more. Yes, Sony has some potentially great games coming out that I can't wait to buy and play... but as Sony is quick to point out... the PS3 is more than a gaming console. I think that is why I like it more than my 360. Home sounds interesting, but until they release more spe...
Why would Sony submit these false rumors? That is the dumbest explanation yet. By stating that these games are going to go multiplatform, they would essentially be stealing their own thunder per se.... then would be no reason for others who are on the fence about getting a PS3 to get one since it would be coming to their platform. If the rumors are true, Sony should fight to keep these exclusives (not timed releases either). I personally have never played the final fantasy or MGS series s...
Have a PS3 also humm.... I have all three systems because I love gaming for what it is. I don't go bashing one system over the other because some games are coming slower than I would like. You are a typical fanboy trying to start a flamewar over nothing. Argue all you want...both systems have their strong points and strong games. But one has something over on the other two: a future.
Everyone always trying to make it sound as if the PS3 is going the way of the DoDo bird. Sony will be back on top eventually... and the games are coming... but I can't wait till the second generation of games to start. But in the meantime... we have plenty of games to keep us busy. Xbox didn't have anything super out when they first came out either.
Sony BMG is just one record company... ALL the record companies have been fighting illegal file sharing for a long time since the beginning of the digital age. You can't lay this on Sony alone...stop trying to start a flamewar. The fact remains that if you make a copy of a song and make it available for download or give it to someone... you are liable for copyright infrigements...as it should be. If you want something..pay for it. It is not just the record companies that take a hit on th...
