Price drop or not, the lack of bc wouldn't be good for me. My PS2 is pretty old and already has had the laser replaced once. Having the ability to play my PS2 games on my PS3 (with upscaling!) is a big plus.

How can I feel cheated when I've got the best version of the PS3? My US launch PS3 has the PS2 chips inside, as well as all of the bells and whistles that have been removed/reduced.
For me there's no acceptable reason why the PS3 version is hitting more than two months after the 360 version. This bullcrap never happened in previous generations! EA seriously needs to get it's act together with the PS3 instead of being lazy and only worrying about the 360 versions. PS3 owners should wise up and refuse to buy any EA games that arent up to par.

I'm holding off buying my second 360 until they show up. Anyway, I found a few comments amusing.
The first being PS3 has "no games". Yeah, if you don't count Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Haze, Burnout, Orange Box, UT3, Heavenly Sword, Oblivion GOTY edition, Warhawk, etc then yes there's just no darn games to play.

Just as soon as I get another 360. Anyway, Haze is stating to look more and more appealing, and I'm on the fence with Half Life 2 (is it worth it just for the extra two episodes and Team Fortress 2?). Call of Duty 4 actually looks better than all of them (including Halo 3). I'm not really interested in UT3 as I'm moe interested in single player campaigns than multplayer gaming.

Seriously, Play is the least credible source for game reviews around. They gush over everything, and some of the guys worked on one of may favorite mags back in the day (Gamefan). Even then they game games ridiculously high scores.
