Samus needs the aid of lock on targeting along with braindead enemies that stand still in order to get a kill. As long as the Chief moved around he's be fine. Chief on the otherhand is used to frantic fast paced fights and would easily draw a bead on Samus and decimate her with his guns. Besides, Samus gets beat up regularly in Smash Brother by characters the chief would stomp flat.
Graphically yes, but gameplaywise it just was never much fun for me. I definitely prefer arcadey racers like Burnout, Outrun, Daytona USA, and Motorstorm.
I don't think Sony had a choice as allowing Microsoft to go unchallenged for a second sraight Christmas would've been a foolish mistake. I'm guessing many of you aren't familiar with the N64? Nintendo was the king and one of the errors they commited was taking their old sweet time to release their system, which in turn allowed Sony to grab everyone's attention with Playstation. There was no comeback for Nintendo.

I'll pass on all of the rumors until we know the facts, but there's no doubt that if true, and Bungie sees a mass exodus of employees leave, the it's going to hurt M$ tremendously. They have next to no great inhouse development talent and have to rely too heavily on companies like Epic and Bioware for hit games.
The Halo trilogy is very high quality, and there's just no way you could capture the exciting gameplay and action on a DS. Just watching the videos you can see that it's Halo in name only.

What he's trying to say is that the 360 library is so vast with quality gams that you can't just attribute system sales to one game only, and he's right. Halo 3 isn't the system seller, it's the stellar library! I also sense disappointment and envy in his comment since the Wii needs to rely on Wii Sports and Zelda to sell systems. Why on earth Sony ditched the 20gb model?!! We've gone from 20gb and 60gb, to killing the 20gb model and introducing the 80gb model, then axeing the 60gb model and introducing a 40gb model? For a system that boasts the user ability to throw in any PC Hard drive they want, it makes no sense for them to keep screwing around with the system's hard drive. The new 40 gb model that's stripped down will probably be the old 20gb style.

Gran Turismo has made the list despite only having four editions that only appeared on two consoles! Compare that to Madden that's had sixteen editions that have appeared on SNES, Genesis, Playstation, Saturn, PS2, Xbox, GC, 3DO, GBA, PSP, Gameboy, PC, PS3, 360, Wii, etc.. Same for Final Fantasy that's had twelve main games and countless spin off games on pleny of consoles.
I despise Apple. Just like their PCs and ipods, the Apple console would have the least amount of tech, yet carry the highest price tag simply because of the Apple logo. Worse yet, Apple would have control over every single game you bought, basically restricting what you can and can't do with your newly bought game, which most likely would have to be purchased from their website. Apple brings nothing to the table outside of a brand name, which in the videogame world guarantees nothing.

It's nice to know that you want Microsoft to go into the hole for a few billion dollars more on top of the hole they're already in just to "end the war". The only thing that would end is Microsoft's console gaming division you fool. If the 360 winds up like Xbox and doesn't make a dime there won't be another Xbox system for you to gush over.

Why would anyone make something like that up to justify a videogame purchase?! Might as well add that Nintendo consoles/handhelds are the only things my kids play as there's really nothing for the younger crowd on the 360/PS3.
