You're not getting FF13, ever. Square even put "Only for Playstation 3" at the end of their TGS FF trailer to kill the debate once and for all yet this nonsense still goes on. Look, not everything is going to come out for the 360 so deal with it. If the game matters so much to you then be an actual gamer and buy a PS3 because it's exclusives aren't on the PC.
I'm merely making an observation with the above comment. As a multi-system owner I can't help but tip my hat to M$ who simply has all of the momentum going into the holidays with a slew of must have games, and a price lineup that's got Sony beat.
I'm glad I held off on rebuying my 360. I knew if I waited long enough I'd be rewarded in Oct/Nov, and what a reward it is. Best part is, this is just a bundle, so you know stores will be throwing in other goodies (think free controller/game)...
I thought they frickin' forgot!
I bought a Wii for two reason: To have a game console with family friendly games my kids could play and to play first party Nintendo games.
I honestly find the system to be terrible otherwise, with an awful online setup, lame "channels" that serve no purpose, and last gen powered games that shouldn't carry a price point of $50. If the games are sooo much cheaper to make then why are they only $10 less than PS3/360 titles that cost millions of dollars and need larger develop...
Halo is great. Warhawk is great. Gamers could care less because they enjoy both. Only fanboys who've sold their soul to hardware companies have reason to get their panties in a wad.
Believe it. Take 2 needs all of the money they can get, and with a new hit franchise on their hands only a fool would think they'll pass up the opportunity to make loads more money releasing Bioshock on other platforms.
What does it matter if the PGR name is owned by M$, when the developers who made the franchise what it is are no longer at the helm? So while "PGR" won't be on PS3, it's spiritual successor developed by the PGR team will be and that's all that matters. M$ was stupid not to snap these guys up for themselves. Heck, they should offer Activision Rare in exchange for Bizzare, cause Rare has been a huge waste of money.
The good news: PGR (or a spiritual successor) and Geometry Wars will be everywhere!
The bad news: PGR an Geometry Wars will be everywhere.
The ugly news: Geomtery Wars milked to death with yearly updates.
How on earth is the 360 bombing when it's walking all over the PS3? I'm guessing they mean M$'s Xbox division which won't turn a profit until god knows when.
I recall the days of walking into Electronics Boutique (EB for those without a brain) and browsing the Commodore 64 section. It's a shame as we only have Gamestop, but at one time we had Babbages, Electronics Boutique, Funcoland, and Software Etc.
In my opinion it's not even a direct competitor to 360 and PS3. While devoted gamers are buying those systems, the Wii is selling to senior citizens, weight loss hopefuls, soccer moms, little children, and hardcore Nintendo fans. Xbox 360 owners are buying games, while the majority of Wii owners are buying it for Wii sports, and at $250 w/game it's not a wallet breaking purchase. It looks like the system's sales are slowing in Japan, and with the recent price drops the 360 is seriously pickin...
Why post reviews from no name websites? Who cares about their opinion?
Looks like I'll be rebuying my Xbox 360 (god I've missed it).
Glad to see Halo 3 scoring so well on so many sites, as the game looks great! I was expecting to see some people call this guy names since he's the one who gave Zelda TP an 8.8 (which it deserved).
The 360s puny DVD storage means even less maps than PS3. Skip the gum and save yer money for the microsoft points your going to need to download them.
Insomniac is one of the few developers out there that consistently puts out a quality product every time, and Ratchet will be another no brainer must own game for PS3.
It's games like this that really seperates PS3 from the 360, because this is exactly the type of game the 360 lacks.
Nice to see Katamari coming (I guess), but I'm more interested in the original PS3 title Katamari's creator is cooking up.
Seriously, I love them. I used to get rid of games afer beating them, but now it' onto hard mode to get the achievement, or getting a certain score without dying. I fail to see how this can be viewed as a negative feature when it basically adds incentive to keep playing the game you just plunked $$$ for. Besides, if it were so bad, it wouldn't be ripped off from Nintendo and Sony.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzz...
Two free games and the Falcon chipset?! I'll be one happy camper next month.
