Cloud gaming will fit well with the casual gamer I think. Those people don't own a PS4, or a XB1, so they may look at Cloud Gaming as beneficial, because
1 - They don't own or have to own either console
2 - These type of gamers don't really care about the input lag/latency
3 - They can play it on any device - A casual gamers wet dream
So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this catches on big time with the casuals.
Obviously...
So we have a reviewer/journalist, who has no skill at gaming, NO SURPRISE, review this game poorly, because it's too hard.
Why are journalists reviewing games to begin with? They are not gamers. They are not skilled at anything. This is why I only trust gamers who play and review games.
'
Journalists really need to go extinct.
Though I usually recommend people to pirate EA games, well, because they deserve it and put little effort into their games, just so they can make even more money, this IS a game that deserves to be purchased.
Let EA know this was the right move towards gamers. Buy the game!
The limitations of internet, tech and the nature of distance for data (frame drops, lag, latency), automatically made this a failure. You just CAN'T replicate local gaming, through the internet/streaming.
It works perfectly fine with movies and this same model does not work with games, as interactivity is the biggest part of games.
I find it hard to believe that the 'smart people' at Google thought this would work. Anyone with a small amount o...
What kind of gamer does NOT own a PS4? Seriously. Lets be real here. There is hardly any great games on XBOX. The whole fanboy thing of deliberately not owning a PS4, because of 'brand loyalty', even though that brand is significantly inferior when it comes to games, is silly. You are just ruining your own experience and missing out on games, amazing games.
Part of being a gamer, is owning the best, not skipping it and being loyal to an inferior product.
So no testing was done before shipping these controllers out? There is ZERO excuse for this, then again, not a surprise for a industry which has hardly any regulations.
Microsoft cheaping out.
How about acquiring some great studios with a resume? Like Sony did with Insomniac Games?
Little name studiios don't help much sorry.
Why do some people still think 10/10, 100/100 means a PERFECT GAME? This is not the same as an exam where you are scored out of 100.
10/10 simply means it was a 10/10 EXPERIENCE, that is it!
It CAN have flaws, but if those flaws DON"T IMPACT the overall experience and enjoyability someone has with a game and still was like 'Wow that was amazing' once the credits roll, then that is still 10/10.
The Witcher 3 for me, was a 10/10 experi...
Vita was never going to be successful simply due to the TYPE of games it had. They were pretty much 'core' games for a 'portable market'. The portable market mainly consists of casual gamers and children. They aren't into these core type of games, they are more into the casual, easy and at times kiddy, type of games. Nothing wrong with that, but you have to cater the right games for that market.
I agree. Even though overall the PS4 is a far superior platform, two things that XBox does better :
Controller - The PS4 controller layout is such an outdated design. It was designed with dpad still being the primary way to play games, hence why the analog stick is at the bottom. Now analog is the primary way to play games, yet it is still on the bottom. Not ergonomically sound either.
Thankfully I can use the ChronosMAX PLUS adapter, that allows me to use the XBOn...
A game catered for children. Hmm who cares?
LMAO If this doesn't smell fishy, I don't know what does.
First Review Embargo is the day of release
Now not on early access
The fact this is an EA published game should be enough warning signs that this game might suck.
All the worthwhile titles listed, can already be played on PS4.
No Stadia 'exclusives'?
Will Google start funding and publishing games in the future, for exclusivity purposes?
This will attract casual gamers. That is about it.
Outside of the first Uncharted sure, but the others, especially Uncharted 2 and 4? Er NO. Anyone who has any taste in games can see this, obviously gaming journalist aren't gamers, so stop writing these stupid articles, for the sake of writing articles. Talk about untalented gaming journalism with nothing smart to write about. Friggen hack
Thats a lot of stupid gamers
There are people who are going to find the game incredibly boring, because you are constantly and repeatedly walking from point A to Point B, in a loop. Fair enough. What you have to remember is, this was done on purpose, as it is part of the theme and philosophical nature of the story, Kojima is trying to tell. Some people can look past this and find it as an experience, others will not and still find it boring.
What people need to remember is, not all games are designed f...
Very easy answer - GAMES. More specifically GREAT EXCLUSIVE games.
XBOne - which hardly has any great exclusive games
PS4 - has a plethora of great exclusive games
The multi platform games can already be played on PS4
Any smart consumer can see which is worth buying and which to skip.
I bought a PS4 at launch, knowing full well Sony would deliver on the gaming front.
I made the mistake of buying the XBOne at launch, th...
Its scary to think what kind of shape the gaming industry would be in, if Sony never entered it back in 1994 with the PS1.
We would of been stuck with Nintendo, who's glory days in having a large number of great games on their system, is gone. Last one was what? N64? SNES being their best. Ever since then, they have had only a handful, if that, of great games on each of their systems. Sega, gone. Microsoft, who have gone downhill since 360, hardly anything worth playing...
I don't have any issue, though I play about 1.5m from my TV. Not everyone plays so close to their screens, so I can understand some people would have issues. Having text size options, really should be a standard in games today, especially considering we are now playing games at higher resolution.
Everything about the Playstation platform is far superior to that of Xbox, except for one thing.
THE CONTROLLER
Xbox controller is far superior, more ergonomic, and a more natural placement of the left analog stick, as it is in the natural position of the thumb.
It is a shame that Sony are still using an outdated controller design.
Why is the DPAD still in the primary/natural position, when the left analog stick is used more?
DPAD was use...
