This would of been a bad move, not to mention profit wise, but pissing off the massive console market that put you on the map in the first place (The Witcher 3).
Unfortuntely it is just bad timing on when they decided to release it. Releasing it at a point whereh next gen consoles ONLY started coming out, so not a big install base, and where last gen OG consoles where showing their age.
If this game started production/development 2 years later, which mean...
Base units only
Ps5 and XSX compatabilty mode run the game at 60fps on performance mode and locked 30fps on quality, with a few minor dips here and there

The first game was super rough
Second game was good
TW3 was amazing
Just because a studios previous gane was amazing doesnt automatically mean their next one will be.
Very focused on gaming yet have zero games to show for it
No idea why people always seem to think more teraflops = more powerful.
After the specs for Playstation 5 was revealed and details on HOW the system works, it actually IS more powerful and efficient then the Series X, so the Playstation 5 performing better then Series X shouldn't be a surprise.
Glad to see the performance issues were addressed on PS5, and screen tearing on Series X, even though you wouldn't need to drop the resolution to fix this if you knew what you were doing, such as optimising your game properly.
Both next gen machines are more then capable of running this game @ 60fps with close to 4K resolution, but sadly as we see with Ubisoft games, the developers are either not talented enough or are too lazy to optimise their games properly, so inste...
Not surprised by this. With news that games are going to be more expensive ($70 in the US), more people opted for physical, simply because the you can get the physical versions cheaper then the digital counterparts.
The group of people "I am definitely going to wait for the PS5 version to play this! to get the better experience".
If that is the case, why not build a high-end PC and play it on that if you are concerned about the 'better experience' ?
The graphical difference with this game between PS5 and a high end PC will be bigger, then the graphical differences you will see between PS4 Pro/Onx and PS5/Series X.
The best experience will b...
Sony exclusives can definitely justify the price increase. A lot of multiplatform games do not, cannot, and shouldn't be increased. If you cannot up your quality with your games, there should not be a price increase.
Thank god for torrents.
Valhalla started interesting for me, but then you get to England
- Grind materials to build your settlement
- Take over settlements
- Hunt down and kill the Templars(called differently in this game but still the same)
This seems awfully familiar...No innovation from Ubisoft
So that is where all the Series X consoles went
If even the Series X is struggling with this, that should tell you something. Have your games set at a DYNAMIC 4K resolution. There is a tiny difference between DYNAMIC 4K and Native 4k.
Free up those resources for other things, such as to stabilise framerate, or more graphical effects/quality.
See this is what I don't understand about people.
All those 11 games, are you playing them all at once? If NO and they are just sitting there, why are they there? Just download them when you are GOING to play them and delete the games you have finished.
This really isn't a big issue folks, unless you are someone that plays 11 games in rotation at a time.
Sony - acquire Bluepoint now!
Brilliant feature!
That stuff needs to be in the credits. I get it, they want to advertise who made it, but it was so annoying having to wait each time to get past all the company logos.
Nice work Sony
Not even the might of Sony can make a good looter shooter.
Hmm no it isn't.
Demon Souls Remake - Looking forward to it, but it is still a remake
Bugsnax - Pretty sure this is self explanatory. At least the kids will enjoy this one
Spiderman Miles Morales - It is on the PS4 also
N64 and PS2 had better lineups and if i recall SNES
Though it is good to see the game have RT on the Series S, the level of RT, is not has pronounced or aggressive as it is on Series X.
Who cares if it's theft. These corporations make more then enough money anyway. There is a difference between making money and MAKING MONEY (GREED).
If there is no valid reason behind a price increase, outside of "we just want more money", such as, quality increase, or quantity increase, then screw them.
Now that game prices have increased, do you truly believe game quality will also increase?
Capitalism has gone too far a...
It doesn't matter which you choose, the only difference is the first 10 minutes of the game and a few extra dialogue options, thats it.
Very un-CDPR like, they literally put zero effort into this
