i'd rather have my bmw and the ability to buy multiple games that my job allowed me to have, but i see your point. ;)
if only there was a way to buy more than one game in a month.... especially if planned for in advance. ;)
no. personally - and i know tons of people on here will disagree with me - i feel that handheld gaming is going to eventually give way to mobile gaming - once mobile gaming finds its stride and the graphics hit respectable power (iPad air2 is already significantly more powerful than vita). tablets will be more ubiquitous, have hardware refreshes more regularly and be treated almost like little PC's in terms of gaming business models. i mean - its kind of already happening. Nintendo ha...
they're intersecting cut scenes from the game but rendered in realtime (not pre rendered).
the old version looks more vibrant - but also more cartoony. the new version is more muted but looks way more realistic. textures are better on the ultimate version. the helicopter crash was epic on the ultimate version.
i'd rather it be Gears 4 coming out first, but if you're going to remaster, this is how you do it.
Being a sponsor is not the same as holding down a booth/presentations/shows.
I actually was there and there wasn't much directly pointing at Sony. Nintendo and MS certainly had a presence.
What the article was saying is that Sony didn't do a show and mentioned how ms, Nintendo, Activision etc had panels and booths etc while Sony did not. Being a sponsor is not the same as "being there" - which usually means presentations and proper booths, etc and so forth.
#gamers2Quick2Judge ;)
yeah. i was really used to playing with a wheel last gen but the xb1/ps4 don't support my fanatec wheel. i was really not happy using a controller at all.
to build a wheel kit for the xb1 with the new fanatec system was going to cost almost $1k. i opted for the thrustmaster for xb1 as it was rated way better than the madcatz offering but not cost prohibitive like the new fanatec system.
its not bad. it bugs me that its a ferrari wheel, if for no other ...
see comment above.
if you're going to put a remaster out or re-release an old game, it shouldn't be a $40 port of the same game running in 1080p instead of 720p. that to me is worth $10-15, tops the more i think about it.
personally i am sick of remasters. i think they should be reserved for really special versions of games long after that game has come and gone. like say - remaking the original halo with proper gen 8 graphics.... or spyro... again with gen 8 graphics... thats worth ...
lame. they had a real opportunity to do something more. dare i say i even expected a little more from such a great franchise. certainly not worth the price, thats for sure.
brilliant idea. if we can vote on users and their behavior (positive or negative) then having that power with the content makes sense as well. as long as the content stays balanced. would kind of suck to let the fanboys of either camp vote off any stories of the opposing camps good news - which i could definitely see happening.
yeah me too. Phil should have been there from the beginning. I can't even believe the clean up he's achieved already.
nice one. amazing how far its come since the Mattrick disaster
you might have felt more disappointed if you purchased it like the rest of us. i made it through - and sure, some parts were fun and the graphics were fantastic but it was definitely disappointing for me. the whole game was practically on rails and held your hand through almost every part... when you even got to play that is. there was this beautifully art directed world that you barely even got to experience and definitely didn't get to explore. the story wasn't even as good as i...
isn't pretty much any usb 3 compatible external drive considered an external storage upgrade kit? i mean... how is this different than the drive i have hooked up to it right now thats working perfectly fine?
A good example of why you can't use Amazon.com as an accurate sales metric as some people on here like to do. Personally I'm buying everything digital so far this gen and it's working out.
looks great. way more simplified to get to friends/parties. i'm also looking forward to better, less rigid voice commands that do more a la cortana.
It's not the same and you have to pay for it and get less quality and lag I top of it. This is assuming your internet connection is fantastic of course
I have both consoles and I'd say psn does have more problems than xbl. Xbl services seem to come back online quicker when they go down comparatively. Also, fwiw my psn account has been hacked twice now. Matchmaking on xbl is usually flawless. The problem with Xbox one is the party system but it's getting better. Xbl is definitely faster for downloads for sure. I have a 300mb/s internet connection and I'd say a 40gb file on xbl takes about 40 min to download and about just over an...
