I agree with you almost entirely, but I have to say it is good to be able to watch videos online of the endings to all of those NES games I could never beat.
Nintendo has been fighting piracy since the NES days, so it's not like it's just Sony who's doing it. I doubt if Microsoft likes piracy either and you can be sure that they take measures to fight it too. The reason this case is even being tried isn't because the PS3 was hacked, but the way it was hacked. The fact that they came out and bragged about it probably didn't help them get away with it either.
I don't know how long you've been playing vide...
Apparently anyone can get a website these days.
I hope your next topic will be about the more recent "Battle of GT5".
I hope that when they list "Planet of the Apes" they're talking about the one starring Charlton Heston and not the one starring Mark Wahlberg.
This song is dedicated to the women of Oblivion...
If the time span of DA:O2 is 10 years and goes beyond the time of DA:O then that is no longer an issue.
As for custom characters having no personality in comparison to ones like Shepard and Hawke, if your personal custom characters had no personality then that was your fault, not the game's. It may sound odd considering the fact that most of us are probably adults but you have to remember to use your imagination sometimes.
Movies with open endings are of...
The only problem I have with DA:O2 is the fact that you won't be able to create your own character. I liked how DA:O developed its characters and even allowed you to disband your party if you liked, on the other hand I hated Mass Effect 2 and its hand holding illusion of "choices".
I hated Shepard not because of his personality, but because he was limited in my ability to exert control over his decisions. This may also have been true in DA:O, but the rope wasn...
That's a pretty short list. Though the truth is you could deconstruct characters from any genre and they'll usually come out with as many if not more similarities than they've listed here.
"...developers went out of their way to make sure the game's characters weren't stereotypical. "For example, one of the immigrants is a nerdy looking guy with a pocket protector," Schwartz said."
How ironic.
Yes it is from the people who make Harvest Moon, but it has farming elements and dungeon crawling. Also, like in Harvest Moon games, you can marry and have children. The combat style is similar to early Zelda games or the Ys series.
Agreed, and I wasn't trying to imply that they were young, I was just trying to use flowery words. Change "young child" to "old person" if you'd like, either way NB is being careful, well at least when it comes to the games people actually want.
I think it's asking too much for NB to release Graces F on all platforms. Also, the platform it will be released on hasn't been confirmed yet, so it may either be PS3, Wii, or possibly, but not likely, both. Despite wanting all Tales games released in the West it must be recognized that NB is a business and weighs its decisions based on what it thinks will be successful. If Tales of Graces F doesn't sell well don't expect to see another Tales game anytime soon. Just picture NB...

I understand your frustrations, but the problem isn't just from one side or the other, both parties have caused the US Government to become this way.
She looks kind of like The Boss in that picture.
I agree with your suggestions. I always thought I was pretty good at Street Fighter games, but with the new connectivity in the world I have been humbled countless times by players all over the world. If there were lobbies exclusively for different skill levels it would make online play much more enjoyable and allow for the player to have matches with people who are more of a match for them. It could be a progression, with players gaining access to the higher tiers as they win more while losi...
Don't count on it. It seems like NT hasn't learned their lessons at all in fact. Now they're bashing the old Devil May Cry games, calling them "not cool" all while CAPCOM hopes to sell 5 million copies of DmC worldwide.
I don't claim to know how the game will do when it comes out, but the similarities between what NT did with Heavenly Sword and Enslaved are there.
@DaTruth
I just checked the back of the box my MGS4 80GB PS3 came in and yes Heavenly Sword is on the back of the box.
As for why Enslaved didn't sell as well, I'd wager the fact that it's a new IP, that Castlevania came out the same day, and the fact that NT isn't very good with PR may have had something to do with it. Also, we can't forget about the uproar over their next title, DmC, which was announced before the release of Enslaved.
It wasn't as bad as Arc Rise Fantasia.
Interesting article about a game most people have probably never heard of, but Atlus has been making games long before the PSX. The first Atlus branded game I played was Snowboard Kids for the N64, but it was developed by Racdym.
