There is nothing wrong with this commercial, but there is something wrong in insulting people you don't even know based on seeing them on a screen for less than one minute. All I saw was Nintendo trying to appeal to an age group that surprisingly bought the original DS and that they hope will now buy the 3DS.
They can make fun of him all they want, but he makes a good point in a round-about way. Besides, he's probably been asked the same questions a million times over the course of his life, maybe he's just being sarcastic and nobody's getting the joke.
Their decisions seem odd from the article. Their new game Warriors: Legends of Troy will be a PS3 exclusive in NA, but a multi-platform game in Europe and Japan. I don't understand the decisions of certain Japanese studios, first Namco Bandai had strange ideas about what made sense, now Tecmo Koei is making weird decisions. I hope that they're successful, but it just seems like they really don't know what to do.
They think M. Bison was the best Street Fighter boss?
Considering how many "Games of the Year" there are Gears 3 has a shot.
As for graphics, like I said in a post on a similar story, the new UE looks great, but I hope it can be utilized effectively on all systems. The PS3 games are good too in terms of graphics, but the new technology is an improvement, as should be expected.
It's also possible that some "gamers" have just gotten lazy since a lot of games hold their hands now.
I just have one question...
They wanted a game that people who played mostly shooters could pick up and enjoy? Do they really think people who play mostly shooters will even give this game a second glance? I'm going to give DA2 a shot, no pun intended, but I'm getting sick of this idea of inclusiveness we've been seeing this gen. Not everyone plays the same games so I wish they'd stop trying to pander to people who aren't even in their audience.
When I was a kid I got this game for the NES and I regret that I did. I could have gotten a game that actually might have been fun. Occasionally I can get to the third stage, but it really is too repetitive and boring for my taste, not to mention the idea that an egg, a pickle, or a sausage can kill you and the way you make burgers is by walking on them. This game is why I always check my burgers for little footprints whenever I eat out. If I ever see them I'll know not to eat there again...
I remember when JRPGS and WRPGS were so recognizable in their genre that they were both just called RPGS. They both had their own characteristics, but they were still just called RPGS. Now WRPGS have more elements of FPS, hack and slash, or even first person hack and slash than any RPG ever has and some JRPGS are just as guilty of genre-bending. The only reason they even get called RPGS is because your character gets stronger or learns new skills through a points system. Was Double Dragon an ...
I think when FFvsXIII comes out it will impress a lot of people. I like how the new Unreal engine is looking too though, I just hope it works well on all of the new systems. Knowing how developers are these days almost everyone is going to use the same engine and it'll probably be this one.
Games are starting to look a lot closer to reality and I think this is taking it just far enough to where it looks excellent but isn't creepily real. I'd like to see how far o...
NEWSFLASH: Developer of Mobile games who shares the same name as a folk singer attempts to draw attention by bashing traditional hand-held gaming. Southerners respond by claiming his presence is not wanted in their area and call for the renaming of "Angry Birds" to "Free Bird" in protest.
CAPCOM must really hate Devil May Cry.
It's kind of an odd angle though... it actually looks pretty strange, almost like he's being attacked.
The announcement might not even be about Catherine though, but it probably is.
I don't see anyone as outraged at the hackers who aren't making raps or asking for donations. I may not like what hackers do sometimes, and I don't know Mr. Hotz personally, so I can't say as to whether or not I hate him, but I don't support what he has done, and considering the actions he has taken since the case against him has begun it isn't any wonder that many others don't either. There are some who support him though, as proven by the amount of donations he...
Collegehumor should change their name because they are never funny. I wonder if they work as writers on SNL too.
I don't think he'd care since he'd already have the money, but I for one would commend you for doing so. I understand the purpose of collecting rare games for their value, but video games were meant to be played, not stored in a plastic case.
The only ones I agree with are the bad co-op AI and bad camera mechanics, the rest are just part of the game and won't be as noticeable as you get better at it. Invisible walls will always be around since virtual worlds aren't going to be infinite, although I have played a game where instead of having a virtual wall they just let you run in place until you realize you aren't really going anywhere.
The law usually is one sided, at least it's supposed to be.
This is a pretty good list, but they have a picture of FFVIII next to FFIX.
