"The truth is that making a romance available for both genders is far less costly than creating an entirely new one. Does it create some issues of implementation? Sure-- but anything you try on this front is going to have its issues, and inevitably you'll always leave someone out in the cold."

Kind of similar to copying and pasting level designs. Being bothered by everyone in DA2 offering to have relations with your character, especially if you aren't homose...

Although I probably shouldn't be, I'm surprised by all the criticism of this review. You shouldn't have to justify liking a game based upon what other people say, he didn't like it, so he gave it a 2.5, you don't have to agree with him. The reviews that give the lowest scores are probably more trustworthy than the reviews that give it the same score everyone else does. It's easy to do the same thing as everyone else; even if you don't agree with his opinion at leas...

If they turn Resident Evil into a shooter I guess I'll just have to accept the fact that it's dead, no pun intended, and move on to Silent Hill until it suffers the same fate.

I agree with everything you've written except for your update. Mr. Bleszinski has not provided anything innovative in the video game industry in my opinion. Gears of War took the shooter genre a step back if anything and considering how far he has branched out from that project it seems clear that he has a lack of creativity.

I won't prattle on about him since he really doesn't deserve the attention, but I will say this since he supposedly reads things here, when...

I don't know why everyone is arguing about which system Crysis 2 plays better on, from what I read it's a glitch filled game that has a lot of lag no matter what it's played on.

This doesn't necessarily rule out the original voices, but even if they aren't included is it really that big of a deal? I watch anime and sometimes the dubs are terrible, but this is Atlus we're talking about, and if I recall correctly Persona 3 and 4 didn't have the original voices either and they're still great games. I hope I'm not proven wrong on this, but have a little faith in a developer who is known for having good localizations.

I liked the story and I agree with you on the direction of the RE games, but it was a little hard to read due to some grammatical errors.

With the benefits given to game websites by certain publishers it isn't any wonder there are inflated scores. If it was up to me there wouldn't be any numeric or alphabetic scores, reviews would list the pros and cons of the game, offering people a better understanding of it rather than just "it's a 10/A you should go buy it" because scores aren't usually enough to go by and not enough people do enough thorough research on a game before they buy it (or read the whole...

I've never played a Guilty Gear game, but after playing BlazBlue I'd definitely pick it up if they changed their minds and decided to make one.

The first fighter I bought for my PS3 was Street Fighter IV, but after I got BlazBlue it was pushed to the side. I even bought Continuum Shift, but in contrast I never picked up SSFIV and I don't plan to either.

If you own all three systems and prefer the 360 controller then why would you need a 360-like controller for your PS3? Why don't you just play your 360?

I prefer the DS over the Xbox controllers, the analog sticks are easily accessible and the layout of the other buttons allows for a quick response and better control.

The Xbox360 controller isn't terrible, and it's definitely a step up from the Xbox controller, which was an improvement over the gi...

I don't understand why Epic is seen so highly either. I do think their new engine looks good and I know a lot of companies use the Unreal engine, but I've always hated that fact because of its limitations. I have a lot more respect for companies like SE and Konami who create their own engines for the most part, because it shows that they actually care about their games rather than just jumping in with a ready made engine and making something around it.

It's not Ep...

I like how he made Stone Cold in three tennis games, but he was unable to make him in Fallout 3 due to a lack of available options.

I wonder if Stone Cold won Wimbledon.

I think you should switch the definitions for the words because "fanatic" sounds like a word that is much more suited to describe a crazy person than "fanboy".

There was only one high dragon in DA:O too, the one guarding Andraste's ashes, and although you don't have to kill it, if you do, which isn't easy unless you use a glitch, you not only get an achievement/trophy but you get some pretty good loot too. The other "dragon" you fight is really just a shape-shifted Flemeth.

I haven't played DA2 yet, I'm waiting for a price drop and for my backlog to get smaller, but if there's only one high dragon ...

They didn't mention it, but I thought it was funny when Ken Kutaragi revealed the "new design" for the PS3 controller, but I was also relieved that they didn't use the weird boomerang concept design.

These days you don't need a cheat code because most games are either already easy or have glitches that inadvertently give you an advantage like the item glitch in Oblivion or the trap glitch in Dragon Age: Origins. Strangely, the games that have the lowest ratings are usually much more challenging and offer no cheat codes or advantageous glitches.

I like Final Fantasy XIII a lot more than Mass Effect 2. Ironic that they chose that game out of all the other WRPGS they could have used as an example. BioWare uses cutscenes almost as much as SE does, and if SE implemented a similar system to ME I know I wouldn't like it. "Choices" that hold little to know weight in the story and virtual dating with characters who are mostly unlikable? No thanks.

Hopefully FFXV will return back to a fantasy world similar to FF...

I applaud their attempt to give a list of real "mature" games, but I disagree with a lot of their choices. They contradict their own statement about why games that are rated "Mature" aren't always mature by choosing many games that do exactly what they claim a real "mature" game shouldn't.

Or the "fanboys" are the ones doing the most complaining about "fanboys".

Linking your games to an account in the way EA and BioWare have done enables them to do this kind of thing. People bash CAPCOM on their own forums all the time, especially in the DmC boards, but because they don't have a link back to the games they can't disable anyone's ability to play.

While there are a few benefits to the linking done by EA and BioWare, this will probably discourage a lot of people from doing the same in the future. In my opinion, terms of serv...
