I'm surprised he wasn't an enemy boss in the game.
I think the biggest problem with game reviews is that there are too many copycats. It seems as though if the major sites rate a game highly then all the little sites give it exactly the same score. Using DA2 as an example, many sites gave it a 7-9 score, and the lesser sites followed, but one man gave it a 2 or 3 and everyone dismissed him as foolish or biased. Although even I think a 2 or 3 was a bit harsh, at least he had the courage to rate the game the way he saw it rather than simply fol...
I agree, high scores are passed out for games too often these days. CoD games are always going to score high and obscure JRPGs are always going to score low or mid-range if they're lucky, but in reality they both have flaws and the high score for CoD is usually just a result of popularity rather than actual quality. Fallout: New Vegas was a bug-fest, but it still scored high.
Final Fantasy XIII is a game that surprised a lot of people to say the least. It may not have bee...
I agree with him to a certain extent, his comparison between "Islamic Extremists" and the KKK seems a bit of a stretch, but hopefully one day "Islamic Extremists" will be as irrelevant as the KKK is now.
As for "Anonymous", the internet isn't a shield for them to hide behind as they might think. If the law really wanted to they could find out who every member of "Anonymous" is as well as any other group on the internet. It's a w...
I agree that there are some people who obsess over these video game women too much, but the inclusion of Jade Raymond was wrong. There are many articles arguing for the inclusion of women in gaming and now that a woman, who happens to be attractive, is partly responsible for a popular game she becomes overrated?
Is there a cheat where you can play as Prince Harry?
Rabbit is spelled with two "b"'s.
He would have been better off donating the money to The Human Fund.
He actually looks like he's really interested in whatever it is he's looking at. Maybe he's decided to leave "Anonymous" and actually buy a SONY product. He's already taken the first step by unmasking himself.
It would be pretty funny if people collected photos of "Anonymous" members buying SONY products during the boycott, or if people decide to counter the protest by wearing Guy Fawkes masks to the SONY stores and buy stuff just to confus...
Tell that to my grandma.
I like Red Dead Redemption, but the story was disjointed and brought the truth of John's morals and beliefs into question. It was still a good game, but it would have been even better if it had been more like "Jeremiah Johnson" and less like Grand Theft Auto.
I may be wrong, but I truly think that Red Dead Redemption would have been better if its world reacted to you rather than force you to follow a path. There have been countless articles describing getting l...
This isn't that big of a deal. There are a lot of frivolous lawsuits these days, and depending on the opinion of the judge this will either get thrown out or MS will have to pay a small amount, in their terms, to the planner.
By the way, who is Ne-Yo?
You underestimate the number of N4G users who are actual LEGO men.
This article is strange, how can FFIX be both the #8 worst FF and the #2 best?
I just noticed, they didn't even mention FFIII either.
You can improve a genre without making it too easy, a.k.a. "accessible", and please don't talk about "AI free" games in comparison to this gen. I think we've all seen this video. As for the accusation of nostalgia bias, sure they weren't perfect, but they didn't play the game for you either.
Not all modern shooters are bad, but the "king" sure is, and I'd rather have higher difficulty and a health bar than the pathetic cover ...
Under the "Read full story" link is the website's name. You can click it and rate the website the article is from. It's not quite what you're asking for, but it's a way for you to voice your opinion about the quality of the article and the website.
I've never played Snatcher, but I'd rather have a new Snatcher game than MGSV, and I'm a big fan of MGS. Kojima doesn't have to make Metal Gear games anymore.
For those of you too young to remember or too forgetful, he's making a point about how it's dull and repetitive to shoot, lose health, cover, have full health, repeat.
In the "old days" shooters used something called a life bar and health packs. Run out of health packs and have an empty life bar and it's game over.
For an example please see Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and Goldeneye 007 for the N64, in other words, shooters that are still way...
What about Dancin' and Lily?
Bioware can take as little or as long as they want to develop their games, I for one won't be buying them regardless.
