Lookin' good.
Uncharted 2 was such a beautiful game and to see them improve even further is excellent. ND has incredibly talented artists. Looking forward to the release.
Consoles don't obsolete until their successor arrives and that should be the end of it.
Why would it be exclusive in the first place if TES IV and V, along with FO: 3 and New Vegas, being multiplat?
To divert from this pattern would just be odd on bethesda's part.
I remember me and my brother used to run a game of Crash Team Racing before we went off to school in the morning. Ah the good ol' days.
1. VG Chartz does not track digital distribution and often their legacy numbers are unreliable.
2. Halo 2 wasn't released on 360 and Microsoft decided to cut the PC off of future first party games/exclusives to make the 360 more appealing.
3. This title is asking for trouble and the ending bit is totally uncalled for.
So much flamebait.
Anyone who knows anything about computer hardware will tell you the PS4 has the definite edge in comparison (Unless those XBO specs are wrong). But as you've seen in the past, a console power doesn't win a generation, the games do.
"Very Closely Alligned" means that the hardware architecture is the same meaning less money spent on porting. It'll be less costly compared to porting from 360's PowerPC architecture to PS3s Cell and vice versa.
The boundary of technology know-how, man hours and cost can be significantly reduced since the next gen consoles are the same (and based on a common format) thus making multiplat even more appealing.
So does this mean the game we purchased expecting a complete story is... incomplete? That's a little disheartening.
Actually the difference in power is a little over 50% for next gen.
1.84(PS4)/1.2 (TFLOPS)
Last Gen, the 360 had a 36% GPU power advantage (if only counting GFLOPS for GPU).
240(360)/176 (GFlops)
Architecture differences aside, based on raw power the 360 gpu was stronger but a lot of the time the PS3 exclusives graphics were either on par or exceeded 360 counterparts. This was probably due to the Cell which went under utiliz...
Dell or not, they still got you pretty badly as it should be able to run both games for what you're paying.
I only said this to show you the fact that franchises still do sell on PC thus they are included in the production process. It was you yourself that said this was about money. So why wouldn't a company want 5m extra sales for a port?
CoD/Activision is popular among the console player base while Blizzard and Diablo/Starcraft are mostly dominant...
So close to release. Can't wait :).
Again, $600 will get you a 7870 and an 8 core AMD processor. Alienware/Dell are geniuses at ripping the common consumer off as they charge you a hefty premium for putting it together. Think Apple and their overly expensive Macbook Pro.
Unless you paid for an integrated graphics card with that Alienware, a Nvidia 8800 GT (PS3 GPU) will run BF3 just fine on low/medium.
"Do they sell well on PC?" If they didn't they wouldn't be made for PC. ...
The game changer is the accessibility of a console and the good games. Having Kinect required to even turn the thing on is an example of being inaccessible. Anything requiring me to have online checks every 24 hours is an example of inaccessible and inconvenience.
Not Cool MS.
$600 and this includes the stronger AMD 7870 and a stronger 8 core AMD FX processor. PC gaming is only expensive if you buy pre-built alienwares. Putting it together yourself, it's very customizable and cheap.
Never-the-less, this is just a pointless flame bait article to gains hits. Either that crysis 1 pic was a bullshot or it was taken from a heavily moded game, which in turn raises the requirements for adequate performance.
Awesome. Skype is a wonderful service and it has excellent quality. I use it for party chat with friends during our gaming sessions. It only makes sense for MS to use it since it is theirs after all.
Saw this from a mile away. The GPU in the two machines are literally night and day. The PS4 has many more shader blocks/TMUs (768 cores vs 1152) which makes for a much easier time rendering the game.
I have about 4 friends/family members playing this on PS3 when it releases so i hope it runs nicely.
Pretty excited for this remake.
You have to do it through SE site, yes.
Titan still has a pretty big lead in OpenCL and CUDA performance. Those who used the Titan for work shouldn't feel too bad about this I guess.

The line is launched as of now. MSI and (Soon to be)Asus have their models for sale via resellers. I believe Sager/Clevo has the new GPU/CPUs as well.
