Why are people complaining about another Gears. It's a franchise many people follow and it moves millions of copies.
The term "Milking" being used here is by far the stupidest thing I've read today. Epic runs a BUSINESS and they're sitting on a gold mine. Much like Activision, Nintendo, etc. They would honestly be stupid not to cash in on a series many people love.
I bought the game, beat it and I am happy I ignored these reviewers. I loved the game.
I just put 40h into this game (also just completing the main quest) and I had a blast all the way through. The main quest ending was pretty epic. After that ending is a new beginning so without going into further detail, I think folks will have a blast in DD's end game.
Dragonrend and two Daedric Lords and it's dead in a half-minute. They should add another difficulty for those who have top notch end game characters. Master mode feels like Novice now.
I bet it's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 for fall 2013 release. Man I hope I'm right on this one!
All jokes aside, I wonder if its Bungie's "Destiny" game we've been hearing about as of late. Could be a possibility.
...And now a 10/10. Something is going on here because these scores are all over the place. Joystiq just gave it a 40. Game informer gives it a 85.

I won't lie, I'm a little disappointed in the direction MS is planning to go on. I'm not a Halo fan in the least but the games are somewhat entertaining.
It's up to Sony and Nintendo for me. I have all 3 consoles but the "entertaining" thing can be done more efficiently on a PS3(Netflix); a cable box is better than the options their offering now; facebook, twitter, youtube, etc. are all better on PC.

If they map it correctly it could work.
* Press and hold the rear touchpad to sprint.
* Swipe the front capacitive touchscreen to knife.
* Press Down on the D-Pad to toss grenades.
Everything else could be mapped to original controls.

I like Eminem but.. Nintendo and Eminem go together like a nerd and a porn-star. It's just not an ideal match.
How are they failing if their gaming division is profitable? People buy CoD and Halo on Xbox in droves. I really don't think MS cares about new IPs. Business is business and their general consumer is satisfied with the product for the most part.
About 20+ million possible consumers from its fanbase.
What other services could they possibly have to add? They have the biggest named services already on the console. Netflix, Verizon FiOS, Xfinity, ESPN, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

That said, to say Sony exclusives don't sell makes you look stupid. Heavy Rain, a niche (albeit intriguing) title and a new IP at that, sold over 2mil copies. The Uncharted series sits at 15mil+ copies sold, GoW3 is 4mil+ and Gran Turismo is at 7mil+. Hell even the first Infamous broke 2mil. CoD, GTA, etc., selling on the PS3 is just a plus for Sony and their customers. <...

Hell Yeah! Can't wait for Dragon's Dogma. I'll admit, I love Skyrim but the gameplay/combat felt a little uninspired imo.
The video game industry is way too big for consoles to just die. Where else are the Average Joe going to get their sports games and CoD/Halo fix.
