You say that, and yet again it's from your own pin hole view of things. SS is the fastest selling Zelda game ever so far. Just because some relatively small vocal handful doesn't like it doesn't mean it isn't the right direction for the series. There was no going back to the d-pad from the analog stick was there? Why? Because it worked, and it worked better for what is possible in a 3D game. Again, people like you call others selfish, but it is you who needs to look in the mir...
Saying that all Zelda games shouldn't follow this example of natural evolution for the series because you don't like it is what's selfish. It's little different from the people who resisted the 3D environment of Ocarina of Time because the 2D environment of A Link to the Past was so excellent.
Change happens. When it's good, you'll see that change implemented again. You may not like motion controls, but they are here now, and have been displayed in th...
Tales of Symphonia HD + Free Running during battle = Pure Win of the highest order. Please make it happen Namco!
Sometimes when you have a force like Miyamoto having such wide spanning influence over say for instance Game development, it's both a blessing and a curse. We're getting amazing games, but certain up and coming people may be being hindered in their growth by always having to defer to his will and expertise. They aren't being allowed to make mistakes or learn through trial and error.
Nintendo may possibly experience a slightly bumpy period, but overall this is pro...
I'm willing to pay a little more than I did for the Wii 6 years ago, but more than that? Nintendo... overprice this thing at your own peril. The 3DS was the last straw for me and day one Nintendo console purchases. I like my 3DS and all, but I got burned by the pricing shenanigans. Period. Not gonna happen again.
I don't know how to console you if you truly believe that ANY of the next gen consoles will have 8 gigs of ram. Come on man. Get real...
Double post.
Blown out of the water? Come on... Clearly the textures are more defined on the Vita version, but both look damn good. Also, let's not forget that the 3DS version will be in 3D, which gives not only the appearance of depth, but the appearance of more polygons than are actually being used.
No reason to hate. Both handhelds have their advantages. Pick the one you like. I already have a 3DS, and I'll be buying a Vita day one. Shooters, fighting games and Sony exclusives ...
Blue Turtle shell is the worst idea in Mario Kart History. I can't believe they keep bringing that cheap thing back time after time...
Gotta love how the writer talks about the series in past tense even though Pokemon still sells more than almost everything else out there on the market...
I want a Pokemon MMORPG as badly as anyone, but if your patience is gone then just move on. There's plenty to love about the core game mechanics and their ongoing evolution.
What the hell was wrong with his^ post to get all the disagrees? People can't like the Wii U or what? PC games don't generally look the best? (This is an article centered around graphics)
This site and it's overly brand loyal, sensitive, and nerdy retards is a serious embarrassment sometimes. Good grief. Grow up...
The specs on the 3DS CPU are a little better than I thought. The RAM is sorely lacking though. I really hope that Nintendo is partnering with Youtube for user created video content. The 3D video is what differentiates it most I think from the others.
He has. His main job at this point IS to step back and let them do their thing, then come in, approaching their game from the consumer standpoint and tell them what is working well and what doesn't.
Do people really think it's 'awful' so much as a slightly sloppy, sore teat milking?
I can kind of understand what you mean, but at base it's a racing game. How much different can they make it? They already have weapons and speed boosts.. Now you can glide and drive underwater. That's a lot more innovation than any other game in the racing genre, where basically all you get are new cars and new tracks/locations ya know?
They make enough money to pay for larger teams. I love these games, but Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword took too damned long to deliver. If they have to do it that way, then they need to go the Ocarina/Majora's mask/Wind Waker route. Take your 5 years for one, but pop out a quality, same engine/world/concept game two or three years later WHILE working on the next stand alone release.
I love the Wii, but gotta give credit where credit is due. lol
Ha ha, what a classic series.
Let's also not forget that without Zelda, there would be no God of War as we know it.
lol If they had said they love Uncharted or Modern Warfare or Gears of War people would be gushing. But since it's Zelda it's 'Who cares?' Why do people like that even click on articles like this I wonder?
