Kid: "I said Wii Ma!"

Parent: "That's what it says, Vii."

At least it's not as bad as we Wii owners have it.

Wii owner: "How about a hard drive so that we won't end up having to delete the games we download?"

Nintendo: "Nope."

What shameless pandering to the stereotypical image of the male gamer... Oh well. No biggie, but annoying all the same.

...is that the response and accuracy of the Nunchuk seems to be better suited for sword play than the Wii-mote side of the deal. Yet, since it isn't somewhat shaped like a sword, I doubt we'd see a lightsaber game configured that way. Nunchuck for lightsaber, Wii-mote for blocking, and force blasts I say.

If you actually watched the review (And others), rather than pretending to know all about what was said, you'd know that they explained exactly why this game exceeds simple nostalgia, and hype, as well as how it has taken Mario and platform gaming to the next level. But you'd rather just hate apparently. While Ratchet and Clank appears much smoother of course in HD, the graphic quality between the two really isn't astronomical. And this game, being hailed as best platformer ever, apparently k...

Wii or not, the graphics look amazing. The cast so far is great. The moves seem to be awesome. There is a full length Adventure mode now called the "Subspace Emissary" that is character specific. Gameplay looks great, and is said to be so by those who have played demos. There is a stage builder, with which you can submit them to Nintendo, and one will be chosen each day for download by the masses. Oh yeah, and Online Smash, Adventure mode with co-op if you choose, and a ton of littl...

Don't all of a sudden pull a "Oh the sky is falling" stance. In the post of yours I responded to you stated that if the industry changes so that the #1 type of game is casual, you'd quit playing games. That is a far cry from your current: "What if the whole gaming industry turns to the Wii, and graphics are the same 25 years from now?"

The more I read of your posts, the more it seems that you don't have a real point at all. Just hate for Nintendo and what t...

How unfortunate that a term such as "Next gen" is so closely intertwined with how you see yourself and your value/validity/perceived clout as a gamer. Do you really care that much who or what gets the label of "Next gen" when it's all said and done? Does it make you feel that important? Would you really quit gaming if a new majority emerged? I hope not, because that is quite shallow, arrogant, and sad.

We bailed on them. The 64 was for the hardcore gamer, but a huge number of us fickle gamers jumped ship for the Playstation when it got delayed, which caused them to have to rethink their strategy. Especially after the Game Cube was received lukewarmly at best.

People like to pretend now that "Deep down they care about Nintendo, but Nintendo failed them", when the truth is, they made their choice long ago and left Nintendo in the dust. (Kind of like ungrateful childr...

I don't think that Nintendo is necessarily trying to take gamers away from MS and Sony, they just want alot of their gamers to support Nintendo too. For example, someone may love COD 4, and think it to be the best war fps ever, but if they also own a Wii in addition to their PS3 or 360, they'll most likely buy a game like MOH: Heroes 2 just for the revolutionary control system. The Wii console and it's games are very affordable to the HD crowd, so it's no biggie for such things.

If it didn't have Mario affiliation, Sonic affiliation, Olympic affiliation, the game wouldn't even exist. How can you blame these things for the games popularity, when it is those things that are the very structure of the game? Give me a break, some people complain about anything...

Mario Kart on one hand doesn't need to, nor should it look anything resembling real. COD 4 on the other? The more real they can make such a game look, the better.

Do we need a break from hardcore realism, for the sake of some old fashioned, good ol' fun type games? Better yet, can we get a healthy dose of both?

Southpark is written by it's own creators. They sign their own paychecks pretty much when they sell their product to Comedy Central, so I believe that it should play on uninterrupted.

How about finding some common ground when it comes to stories like this? This is a great opportunity to not only be very satisfied with your own choice of system, but to give props/show some respect to another. Truly, these games being seen as equal by certain pro's is no threat to either console or it's supporters. Peace?

Two Wii games that I'll be watching closely in 2008 are Monster Hunter 3 and Spore. If these games give a full and excellent experience on the Wii, then I think that the 3rd party developer problems will be over for this console, and the Wii will be a major player for the long haul. Time will tell though.
