The only system where the light-gun feel is a natural is the Wii. It's kind of along the same lines as to why Wii didn't get COD 4. Sure you could do it on the Wii, but graphics aren't the Wii's strength. It is the 360 and PS3's strongpoint. Motion control is the Wii's strength though, so House of the Dead games make alot more sense for it, than the other two consoles.
The fact that you can't see why it's so popular speaks volumes about the current gamer situation. You like what you like, but there is a growing group of people that aren't into the FPS, or hardcore RPG, etc. Those people are building the market up, and may someday join the hardcore group. This is a good thing. No one genre of game is better than another. It just comes down to personal preference. The DS to many is the best gaming device out there. Power to them. Ya know?
All I can say is wow...
That's the very reason Bush was re-elected. People like them. Uninformed, care free, arrogant, and proud of it. Embarrassing. :(
I'm not sure if that guy is from Taiwan, or if he was joking, but unless you know Cantonese well enough to do the equivalent of what he's doing here on this message board in Taiwan, you shouldn't question his education. Know what I mean? A comment like that makes it look like you either didn't read enough of the post to realize that he said he was from Taiwan, didn't understand the post enough to understand that he was from Taiwan, or you fit the disgusting stereotype of "Dumbass America...
It's the undertones behind the asking of "Can the Wii stay on top?" that is the problem. There is an undertone of "This product is no good", or "It's not the best product out there", "How can people buy the Wii? Surely it can't last." that is the problem. If the Wii becomes the next DS and continues to sell this ridiculously great for even another year, these same retards will ask this same question, for the same reasons. A pinhole view of life truly is...
You however only stank up the place when you opened your mouth and crap came out of it. Read my last paragraph again and take it to heart. Read the whole thing for that matter since you struggle with the concept, even as you live it... You are the embodiment of the perpetrator. :p
The author of this review makes clear his disdain for the Wii, and the review for the game reflects this. He wasn't going to like this game no matter what. Which means that he should if anything be writing articles about why he doesn't like the Wii, not reviewing games that he doesn't even really need to take the time to review since his mind is already made up. If a site allows this, then of course it reflects poorly on them.
Anyone who knows me, knows I am definitely no PS3 defender. But considering the fact that the major claim of this article is just not true at all, this "news" is unworthy of the site. Imagine if this crap was written about your favorite system. As much as some of you like to talk crap, surely you want to talk crap about what is true, and not what is false right?
What is this crap? Can any old piece of garbage wannabe get his opinions posted on N4G as news because he calls it a review? All that's clear from that review is that he didn't like the game before he even played the game. Screw that.
I guess we'll see next month or whenever the sales figures for the game start solidifying. And to those who complain about how Mario is the same thing over and over, but enjoy God of War 2 and Heavenly sword, or Halo 3/COD 4/FPS the umpteenth/etc., all I can do is laugh at the hypocrisy. Some day, perhaps people will stop being so self-righteous and arrogant, and realize that everyone of us will continue to play good and worthy rehashes of our favorite types of games.
"Oh...
It doesn't matter how good your product is, if you don't market it, it will undersell. The biggest marketing that Z&W got it seemed was from IGN, who took it upon themselves to do so. But who listened to that? A few of the hardcore who pay attention to such things. How they ever expect games to do good without Magazine/Comic advertisements, commercials, etc. escapes me. You've already got a system that's cheap to develop for, and easy to make a profit on. Spend a little bit of money and p...
Most if not all markets must have been included. Does anyone here really think that some major part of the world market was excluded from those numbers?
...and all I'll say about it in this post is that more often than not I am literally smiling while playing this game. I'm having so much pure unadulterated fun, that I almost have to catch myself sometimes. IMO, If games like this one are not integral amongst our reasons for why we game, then gaming has gone down a negative path.
I know it's the trendy thing to hate on so-called "Surfer girl" because he/she is annoying as hell, especially lately, but this article is no better. Common sense isn't necessarily proof. This rumor, that her rumors are fake, adds another silly dimension to a situation that would probably be best forgotten. As such, this article does nothing but feed the BS beast... Let it die already.
While reading upside down text is just as meaningless, it's far less irritating than reading "Retard-leet".
That was hilarious...
Umbrella chronicles will sell over a million like the RE 4 Remake did. Seems like it's not quite as good a game, but powerful on the nostalgia and fun factors which are plenty for Resident Evil fans.
Anyone pick up this game yet? What do you think?
Who's played the Demo?
What do you think?
The Wii is no "Cheap steak".
All three console companies have their own individual way of "cooking", but each way is quality. You may not like the way Nintendo cooks it's proverbial steak, but it doesn't mean that it's no good. Just enjoy the brand and style you like best. No need to try and look down on a product that you personally disdain. It just makes you look ridiculous.
