This is BS. Guitar Hero 3 for Wii has Stereo sound. How did something like this, (a damaging rumor based on what ignorant haters are saying on MESSAGE BOARDS) get approved? You know what's even worse? If it becomes a problem, and a clarification is made, half the people that read this story will likely never hear about it. But then again, the majority of people who read this are likely such haters themselves. Well have fun getting off on a lie if that's your thing... Disgusting.
The developers for this game at one point earlier this year claimed that it would be more violent than Manhunt 2. I don't see how that could be the case based on what I've seen of both so far, but it will be interesting to see.
Who knows if the Rayman thing is true or not. Disheartening if so. But as far as the Red Steel 2 rumor goes, if it's true, I'm glad someone stepped up to the plate. The Wii can't afford to have a sequel to Red Steel being as bad as the first or anywhere near it. Postpone it indefinitely if necessary. Just get it right...
It's the highly expensive, HD-Wallet busting consoles that are the "trendy Jean Jackets". Everyone wants one, but they stick to what's natural, tried and true rather than over pay for the sake of unnecessary (At the current price) graphics overkill. Nintendo is pumping out more Wii's than ever before, and they are still flying off the shelves. Why? Because it's fun, innovative, and affordable, the way gaming should be.
I've been buying so many Wii games lately, I wasn't planning on getting this one, but I may change my mind if I can squeeze the cash. It keeps looking better and better.

Since the game is for the Wii, and haters like to pretend that there's nothing hardcore for the system, a game like this that pretty much just doesn't give an "F" is kind of a big thing.
Of course the Gamecube can play Zelda Twilight Princess, it was originally developed for that system. Even so, the Wii version looks much better and has some fun motion controls. As for why there isn't a dvd player in the Wii, who needs a dvd player at this point? Just about everyone owns one who wants one. If the Wii had included a dvd player then Sony and Microsoft fans would talk crap about that since Blu ray and HD DVD are superior formats. Bottom line regarding the Wii is either you love...

As for Wii's collecting dust. Mine isn't and none of my friends are either. Believe the anti-Wii hype if you want to though. As for selling them? You can walk into ANY Gamestop and find used PS3's and XBOX 360's, but it would be a miracle to find a used Wii. Why do people try and pretend it's the opposite? It's just silly and pathetic.
It will be because of this game. If the game has no problems, and is as awesome as we all anticipate, I actually don't see a possibility of my not getting it.
Regardless of what scores these games perhaps should have gotten, one thing is clear. As a whole, game critics see Super Mario Galaxy as superior to Ratchet and Clank, even though the graphics aren't quite as good. Nintendo's problem though is that the majority of games that will be released for the Wii won't have this much effort put into it.
I hope the right "nerds" get wind of this and put their minds to some new concepts for gaming. Just imagine the possibilities.

As much as some people don't want to see 3rd party characters, Smash Bros is at base a spotlight/showcasing game. The inclusion of Square Enix characters would instantly cut through at least half of the hatred felt toward this game by the portion of the gaming world that is against it.
Not that it is going to happen, because it isn't, but the inclusion of Cloud and Master Chief, along with Sonic and Snake would eventually put a copy of this game into nearly every gaming househo...
