Gamestop informs me that they won't get this game in until tomorrow... Nintendo needs to get their release dates straightened out so that we don't have confusion like this. I was excited to play this today, but oh well, the wait will soon be over.

...is why Nintendo doesn't just make it possible to, and promote recording extra VC games onto a memory stick through one of the USB ports? You can get a tiny 2 gig memory stick these days for 20 bucks at many types of stores. Having to delete and re-download games that we buy is an insult imo. They're pretty much telling us to F-off when it comes to anything remotely resembling a hard drive, and they are pinning their own potential growth down.
Just the idea of being able to play the single best new stage developed on a given day from one of our several million fellow Smash fans is awesome. It's one of those features that's so good, that it will be a serious bummer on days you don't get to play and check it out. But then again, on such days we can always get a friend to use the video capture feature so we can at least see it. :D
When are you haters going to realize that every time you say something akin to Wii Graphics looking like Pong, you are hypocritically saying that the original XBOX and PS2 (Which you were all playing just a year ago, and may even still play) graphics look like dirt drawings by 3 year olds?

I think that it's best that some major things are being changed on this game, and abused glitches ironed out. This game should indeed be the next step/final improvement rather than just being Melee with better graphics. Congrats to the developers for making the tough choices, and pulling off an awesome game anyway. I think it will be a rare gamer that will not like and have much fun with this game.
So much of the Wii's power goes toward handling frame-rate that I can see it handling this game. I'm sure that the graphics will likely be comparatively sub-par, but it should look good, and be complete. It all just comes down to if one has a PC that meets the requirements to play this game or not I think. Though the Wii version will probably be cheaper, if one has a powerful gaming PC, I doubt that a 10 buck difference will matter.
All of that being said, who knows? I sure hop...

This game is going to have infinite replay value.
But substanceless bashing of a game or system just for immature kicks should be considered a crime against this site. At this point, all that behavior stands for is a "Little kid badge", to display for everyone how insecure and immature you are. But I would say that the hype surrounding it gives the impression that the game is far better than it really is. I got bored of it pretty quickly, but that I think speaks more of the fact that FPS' aren't the be all/end all of games for me. I think that the bottom line is that we should get away from extremes and call things like they are. For one, Wii Sports isn't packaged with the Wii in Japan. Two, who cares about what the 360 did? This is a Nintendo article. If your chosen system is doing so well, then why act so threatened?
