"Nuh uh! 1080i is teh suckzorz. Itz not teh tru HD! I can see the difference on thursdays at 9:42 a.m. when I've smoked some weed and I look out of my left eye!"
Without a silly arbitrary score you have to actually pay more attention to what the reviewer has to say about the game. Who woulda thought? :)
Gamers need to quit acting as if the world owes us a living. Nearly the whole of this article's complaints center around personal expectations that were unmet. So you weren't consulted personally during these past few years regarding how these systems should be built and marketed? Companies made a few hard decisions that they felt would be best for hmm... I don't know... their company? Who cares? You're nobody, and apparently you are still buying the products regardless of your bad attitude t...
Yeah. Sure. Whatever. :P
That's quite a serious allegation. Good thing we can always trust and believe the word of "Joe Schmoe" the reliable...</sarcasm>
I doubt we'll see Maestro again until after he's done getting all 120 stars on this game.
I had a similar sentiment when I found this story, but of course, that is unacceptable.
Considering that they took into consideration over 15 million gamers, which is an absolutely huge sample size, I'd say that it's very accurate. There are alot of people excited about Crysis, but the amount of people with hardcore gaming able PC's isn't as large as some people would like to think.
A Gamestop commercial by the voice of Mario. I found it cheesy and funny, yet disturbing.
Sony is treating this as a re-launch. Though they had to scrape it down a bit, the 40 gig's $399 price is much more appealing than what they had going a year ago. Hopefully this will be the beginning of better days for the system. I know there's alot of hating going on, but personally I hope that all three systems do very well over the next few years. Any time all three of these companies are doing well, there will be less worries about money, more chances will be taken, and better games and ...
...that a space based game with strange gravity effects can give you equilibrium sickness. How much more immersive could it possibly be? That being said, people for whom it affects this way should probably play less at a time at first until they get used to it.
I agree with you, it's absurd and ridiculous. I'm just pointing out that this is an isolated incident within the Nintendo Fanboy world, and while it is a huge spike it comparatively is nowhere near as severe as the usual b.s. we get here everyday that has nothing to do with Nintendo, and everything to do with the other two major console companies. That and this seems to be some corny, obscure little Italian magazine. It's not like it was Nintendo Power that did this.
These scores seem mostly arbitrary anyway. If people want to read a review, they should be paying more attention to what the reviewer actually has to say about the game anyway. This 1-10 system has become nothing more than a ranking system for whatever the current games in a given time period are. Which can't help but take popularity into account rather than quality. Which leads to the flood of 10's we've gotten lately, and BS "11's" like this one. Which translates such scores into ...
What's the range though i wonder? If you can't go any further than right outside your house, then it's nothing more than a cool idea without much real world relevance. If on the other hand, you can do this from across town, then this is quite impressive.
While it's true that Nintendo has it's own brand of annoying fanboy, this sort of thing in a single isolated magazine can't even touch the level of horrificly annoying Zealotry expressed by the Sony and Microsoft fanboys on a daily basis. Considering that this is one of the most hyped games in Nintendo history, and seemingly great to boot, this is no surprise at all, and definitely not on par with the B.S. that's being argued about all over this site regarding other games and systems even as ...
I didn't realize that this was a joke thread. And yet, even so, how can someone put their name next to this in approval? This place is bad enough already when it comes to this sort of thing. Props though to the contributor for what might be the hottest unapproved story of all time. :P
There probably isn't a game in existence that absolutely deserves a 10. Let alone the mythical "11". :P
If you look at the grading on the side of the article, one of the categories received a 9, while the rest received 10's. Somehow overall, the game is an "11" though. :D
If it wasn't on a Nintendo fanboy site, it probably wouldn't be amusing, but that's all it is.
A rumor of Bioshock on PS3 turns into this in one day? Ridiculous. It's as if the Bioshock rumor is gospel truth all of a sudden. I've got nothing against the PS3 or the 360. I've played both, but own a Wii. Even so, the Sony Zealotry here is getting beyond ridiculous. Just cut it out already...
(That is all)
