No, they don't.

How many articles are we going to see about this? And no, I don't think so.

This.^ I buy a lot of my physical games from Amazon now. I often save money that way and I just don't have as much time to shop for games in stores as I used to. I do go to stores occasionally, but not nearly as often and I often need to be in that area for one reason or another as opposed to going there specifically to browse for games.

That's a lot of illicit activity. One could say it's over 9000.

Some of the items on this list they only have to apologize to their shareholders for. Some did directly inconvenience gamers while others (including this list's number 1) really just encouraged people to get a PS4 instead.

Only if the consumer allows it. It's not my thing and I don't support it. Sure, I'll make exceptions like the month of PS+ I bought because I ended up saving more on a sale than the money I spent for the subscription. However, I don't do game streaming and I prefer owning games and being able to backlog them and play them whenever I eventually get around to them, so even the other kind of digital service model of paying monthly to access a bunch of games for a time just doe...

They mean a Switch that you keep docked and only connect to a TV, with no handheld option. Ergo, the system itself would not have a screen on it.

I mean, it doesn't sound like this is worth it if you have an original model Switch, unless you really want one with a better battery life and actually do make use of its handheld feature on a regular enough basis. This is definitely the model to get for those who don't already have a Switch though. It would be nice if Nintendo dropped the price of existing models to clear them out, but I don't think that's happening. By the sound of things this upgrade won't be more ex...

MS has money. They just need to use it wisely. No, I don't think money is the issue here. Delivering a quality product takes more than just blindly throwing cash at it. Yes, money is a part of the equation, but it's not the whole picture, and I think the rest of the picture is what needs to be examined here.

Agreed. I get hit with disagrees for saying that, but they're a business. They don't care about placement. They care about money. Of course, placement as in having the most sales generally means bringing in more money, so they probably care a little in that regard, but I also don't think they think they can pull 100 million in sales. Failing that, it makes sense they would focus on other ways they can maximize profit.

That would be a terrible idea. A high-end model should be capable of everything the base model is to make it worth paying more for. The Lite at least has a lower price because it’s more limited.

No, there won’t be a Switch as powerful as a PS4 as that would be an entirely new system, not an upgrade to the same architecture. I think the new model Switches might actually be our “pro”. It’s not a huge upgrade but it has better battery life.

It's a one item per list article. Sigh.

I still haven't played Before the Storm actually. I backlogged it at some point and meant to get around to it. Maybe I will now.

This is only the third time Atlus has re-sold an enhanced version of the same game to us. I can't wait to pre-order this.

Yeah, I never quite finished her storyline. All the more reason to replay this.

What's the harm in exploiting free games out of a service you otherwise don't bother with? You're not giving them any money.

Ooh, did gamingbolt manage to outdo themselves by combining beating the beyond dead horse that is the cross-play discussion with their go-to "says dev" piece? I look forward to seeing how low they can set the bar next time.

I have to agree. I especially see this with Steam, where the oversaturation effect often overwhelms me and often results in me not buying anything. I've had this happen with console storefronts too but it's not nearly as bad.

I didn't know Kinect was still a popular thing.

I mean, everyone knows the whole “console war” thing is over-embellished. Yes, there are two companies selling rival products. At the end of the day a business wants to stay in the black through whatever means necessary. It doesn’t care if it’s in first, second or third place.

Of course moving the most units is excellent for achieving that end, so that first place spot is coveted in that sense, while trailing behind is...less coveted. Playing up the console war thing ...

"I have a backlog of games I want to play so extensive that I’m fairly certain I will not have the free time within my lifetime to do so." Lucky you. I have a backlog of games I want to play so extensive that I know for a fact I will not have the free time within two of my lifetimes to do so. Because I'm so sensible I'm constantly adding more games to it.

In any case, you're absolutely right that people who complain about a game's difficulty ...
