Sweet!
Sometimes I think I'm the only one who doesn't believe the apocalypse is upon us. The cancellation of industry events is above Nintendo though, so I certainly don't pin the blame on them, and they may very well be right. I don't subscribe to whatever mass hysteria is killing various events, not to mention the economy...and making it really difficult to find toilet paper in stores. But, enough people do in governments and event planning, so what do I know? I guess I can con...
What do you know? Sony picked a great year to skip E3.
Yeah, because companies would just cancel such an expensive and time and labour-consuming investment. /s Delay it? Possibly. Outright cancel it? I hope you never try to run a business.
Good. People in general, and not just in the world of gaming, need to shut up about the coronavirus. It’s unfortunate for those who either have it or live somewhere like Italy that’s really afflicted by it, but for the rest of us, the mass hysteria behind it is way overblown.
I would love two things: to be able to just walk into a store and buy toilet paper, and to at least get respite from hearing about COVID-19 when I’m doing something unrelated like browsing gaming n...
I respect the dude though, it only because he’s made such a name for himself that he still gets paid for his opinions in spite of not being accurate a lot of the time, and being Captain Obvious a good amount of the time he’s actually right.
I’m not sure why you’re getting disagrees for this. I think it’s great that more people will be able to play Horizon: Zero Dawn now.
This is clearly what is called a confounding variable in the field of Statistics. Many people with violent tendencies happen to play violent games, so someone at some point made the correlation that games influenced them to be violent. In reality that couldn't be further from the truth. Never mind that there are plenty of people who are pacifists IRL, and play the same violent videogames. People with a fondness for violence will of course seek out violent media, but they would have th...
While I agree that some games really suit the portability factor, it isn't the be all end all IMHO. Moreover, as most of my gaming is done at home of course I'm going to go with a better version of a game if one exists. That's why most of my Switch library consists of simpler games that can run on the system without cuts or having to be downgraded.
Because they can't afford to say anything that would cost them their quarterly cheque from MS.
I don’t know if the Fallout 76 team is the authority on how to deliver the best experience with the budget they’re given, but turning trash into gold with some DLC is a tall order.
Neither do I. Sony does dabble in new ideas that are gaining traction at a given time, but they don't tend to replace more traditional gaming and distribution with them. Instead, they adopt them as an extra option, and I think that's the best way to approach things. That way if people like the idea of streaming for example, they have access to PS NOW, but if they don't then PlayStation still has their back. PlayStation is inclusive in its approach to appealing to the consumer....
I think both men and women are worth celebrating for their contributions in our lives. I just don’t see how agenda pushing falls under the category of celebration.
It doesn't. It's the agenda-pushing that accompanies it, and the lack of celebration of men that does. People want games, not PSAs not so cleverly disguised as games.
Normally I would say that adopting a console late into its lifespan is underrated and often find that it can be surprisingly great. However, if it's true that both upcoming systems have BC then there's no reason not to get them instead, as they will be the better way to play not only new games, but games from this gen as well (which will be new to the individual who hasn't had the chance to play them).
Overanalyzers do. For the rest of us, it's a non-issue. I mean, people have pet monkeys, right? They're fellow primates. Wouldn't owning pets be a similar concept for the animals of Animal Crossing? Ok, most people don't own pet monkeys. Still, an anthropomorphic cat or dog would likely relate to a domestic cat or dog in a similar manner.
How about at Top 7 Often Overrated Sites?
Looks interesting. I might check it out.
It was time to admit that a long time ago, but if it takes overblown mass hysteria surrounding a virus to do it, then so be it. I doubt anything’s going to change in that regard though and economies are just going to take a hit, because that’s just how the global economy rolls.
Arrogance and lack of effort.
