Did I just see the words AAA and mobile right next to each other? What’s this world coming to?
I mean, they already have characters from other franchises. Still, Mario Kart is an iconic name and dropping it after all this time would be controversial.
At this point Google may as well pay the full cost to bring games to their system as it will be a loss for any company who does.
What gets me is that a lot of people turn a blind eye to these things. If it were Sony who had such anti-consumer policies, everyone would be in an uproar, but I guess hypocrisy is the spice of life. I love my Switch, but there are certainly ways in which I wish Nintendo would improve.
RoFL. Are you for real? No. Those who swear by gaming PCs are not going to change their mind. Also, why are you speculating about a Pro model for a system that isn't even out and where only rumoured specs have been leaked? I'm really not feeling compelled to check out your podcast based on the synopsis.
I actually really like the way it evolves the classic formula though. Sure, it wasn't until RE4 that the series truly departed from the classic tank controls and fixed camera angles, but adding the ability to counter enemies when surrounded and a rudimentary ammo crafting system was something I appreciated. Nemesis built on the concept of Mr. X and I found him way more terrifying. Also, the uncertainty of when he would show up plays a much bigger role in RE3 than in its predecessor. B...
Adding anything to a dead system is pointless.
They'll probably roll out White History Month sometime after the annual Straight Pride Parade. As for the Chinese angle, I can't say I've seen a lot about that either. Chinese New Year isn't even called that anymore. It's Lunar New Year now. Granted, they are a specific nationality vs White, Black, etc., and we are kind of used to seeing "Asian" characters through Japanese media, so maybe that's why Asian characters in media don't seem so remarkable. ...
The characters only look white to Westerners apparently. Japanese people apparently see the characters as Japanese. That wasn't pandering, neither for Japan or here. Also, there are plenty of Japanese games, even of the older variety, that have a decent female cast too, you know. From a race standpoint, let's not talk about the oddity of localization referred to as "Mark".
Makes sense. Now for the next question: whatever happened to Pokémon Water Blue?
変ですね!
I’ll take games over “distribution” any day, so sorry Forbes but I disagree.
If only new systems were coming out soon...
Interesting as the whole situation with the Coronavirus makes me recall my first attempt at Plague Inc. and how it was more effective than what we've seen with this virus, hence why I'm not overly worried that it will spell the doom of the human race. If anything it's made me consider playing it again. Too bad people in China can only do it illegally now unless they have a device with the game already on it.
A console with exclusives?
Xbox has a history of dominating headlines. It also has a history of selling less units than the current PlayStation. Your point?
When have they ever lost to MS? It would be wise to be mindful of the competition, but they shouldn't "feel pressured" by anything MS does.
I'm having a great time with my Switch, but I tend to evaluate systems in relation to other systems after their lifecycle has come and gone as it weeds out any bias I have in favour of systems I'm currently enjoying and allows me to take a step back and give them a fair analysis based on a variety of data that I can use to compare them to other systems that have had their time in the sun.
RIP. I’ll input the Konami Code in his honour.
IKR? I don’t really care about this thing, but it’s far from the only case I’ve seen where someone uses the Coronavirus as an excuse for something it clearly wouldn’t have an impact on.
