So even Forbes recognizes the importance of exclusives. Or maybe they want us to forget their BS articles about MS “leaving Sony behind”. Not going to happen Forbes. Even your face-saving articles are trash.
We’re not being played very well. Someone who’s good at playing us wouldn’t make it that apparent.
The past according to modern estimates, but yes. We're not going to really be able to find out what a t-rex truly looked like or how exactly the non-avian dinosaurs died off, but we can visit a virtual Jurassic Park based on what estimates based on modern science tell us dinosaurs probably looked like and how they acted, assuming VR eventually gets to the point where the kind of immersion required is possible.
True. The real underrated classics would not have made it onto those collections and I'm sure there are many. That Taz game I rented once comes to mind.
I'd love for loot boxes to be banned, but I don't think that's realistic. On the other hand, when children are being coerced into purchasing them, that crosses a line for me. I would personally draw the line well before that, but if the law were to draw one, I would say the governments of various countries should at least forbid the selling of loot boxes to minors.
Ok, I'll get Dreams! I doubt I could create anything this fantastic, but there have been too many amazing stories of things people have made in this game for me to pass it up.
No, I’m positive this thing is not only dead, but its corpse has been beaten so much that it’s now a fine powder. In other words, Stadia is history, please find fresh material to talk about.
People can always spin numbers. I do believe that the PS4 and XB1 sold less last month than the PS3 and 360 did in the month when they were at the same point in their lifespan. However, that’s a really dumb figure to fixate on. Lifetime sales are the actual important figure, but let’s just ignore that. Granted, the PS4 is largely responsible for bringing that figure up, but it does show that console gaming is not doomed.
What sorcery is this? I may need to look into it.
Oh no, the orange industry must be in trouble! *sips orange juice while posting*
That is when I left too. I was one of the MVPs letting the current (at the time) admins know I didn’t like their proposed changes. Alas, this was also when us “old” MVPs who liked things the way they were before were in the minority as we were quickly being displaced by the newbies, many of whom hadn’t even made a single post on the PlayStation forums prior to becoming an MVP, and who were perfectly fine with the changes. So, I made tracks.
I will be eternally grateful f...
Well, this is sad. I haven’t been on the PlayStation forums in years but there was a time when I was on there all the time, and I even became an MVP. I have great memories of the forum and hope everyone I met on there is doing well. Maybe I should try and reach out to some of my old friends on PSN. There’s one I still chat with regularly on a private forum.
Even though I haven’t been on the PlayStation forum in ages, I still feel as though I would be remiss if I didn’...
I tend to do more gaming on the weekends, as well as when I have days off. I'm in a long weekend with Monday being a STAT day, so I will likely fit even more gaming time in this week than I usually do. Unfortunately, I often find that even if I do have the time, like after work or something, I just don't have the energy for it. But, on a weekend that isn't an issue at all. It's not that I never feel up to gaming on evenings during the week though. Sometimes I do, especial...
Being the chatty one has clearly worked for MS. It's why they're in...3rd. Sony and Nintendo have both been doing fantastic, so while I'd love to hear more about their future plans, I think it's safe to say they know what they're doing and will share with us when the time is right. There's probably a reason why their executives are in charge of a multi-billion dollar corporation and I'm not, so I'm just going to assume they know more than I do about how and ...
How about a big, fat no? I’m voting for 3.
Why on Earth would MS underestimate a company who has consistently sold more systems than them, gen after gen, and all but one time it was by a massive margin?
Yeah, it's perfectly serviceable for a VN. FPS though? You want 60FPS if at all possible. On a side note, it just occurred to me that putting certain gamer acronyms side-by-side is a terrible idea. Regardless, you do not want to play a FPS at 30FPS if you have a choice.
Ha! Atari stopped being relevant in 1983 and that was doubly so in 1985 when the NES hit.
Good thing this project will see the light of day, just retooled as its own IP. Heck, the team behind it can now make it a for-profit title since they won't be using another company's IP, so maybe the cease and desist is a positive for them.
Care to elaborate?
