Aww. I love it.
Sony didn't use a proprietary format with Pro Duos, so at least there were third party options. I have a couple Luxors and that hunk of trash MS Pro Duo Micro-SD with adaptor (which I had buyer's remorse with). Vita memory on the other hand...I'm not saying I wanted to murder Sony, but I certainly wasn't thrilled by how expensive that was, and how difficult it was to acquire. By comparison, it was great being able to walk into a store and buy any brand of SD card for my 3DS...
This is one sector of the entertainment industry that's sure to experience a boon in the coming weeks. Anything that requires people to actually go somewhere seems to be hit hard (I know someone who works at a major sports arena who's out of work right now), but online entertainment is probably going to see a not insubstantial increase as people turn to it in lieu of being unable to do much else.
There's much better beer out there, just saying. ;)
Gotta love the hypocrisy of games journalism these days. /s
You're playing with fire, friend. That said, both are excellent games and are still very much worth playing if you have the means to.
I may experiment with someone new in the Royal update, but I was glad I picked Ann, and I stayed loyal to her throughout the whole game, mostly because Persona 4: Golden made me feel like a dick and I heard Persona 5 makes you feel even more so if you date more than one girl. I'm not sure whether I'll pick Ann again or try someone different this time. Either way I'll remain faithful to whoever I choose.
Alright Sony, I'm ready when you are.
I think you have your Asian countries mixed up.
Good. I love Japan.
It's just portmanteau of the names of two franchises that were instrumental in shaping a genre that is largely 2D and involves a lot of travel back and forth across a world through interconnected areas that is often maze-like in nature, and has "guided non-linearity" where there is still an intended order of progression but it's handheld through organic means such as having sections that require certain abilities to proceed. When done well, games in the genre can be quite e...
I might look into internal storage upgrades for my PS5, assuming that's not proprietary.
Lulz. They forgot one of the Is.
I'm not a big fan of proprietary anything. External HDDs it is.
Actually, it was the Vita that had proprietary memory cards (which I hated). The PSP had Pro-Duos, which was a common format at the time, not unlike SD cards are now, and I have some from multiple brands. They weren't as good as SD cards, but they were an affordable and common enough format that they weren't a huge issue. Now the Vita memory cards on the other hand...what were they thinking? That's one huge advantage the 3DS had as it used SD cards.
@Smokehouse Indeed, and I do believe that as good intentioned as humans generally are, we are, at our core, imperfect beings. A utopia is the kind of perfection that we strive for, but cannot have so long as humans are imperfect. Moreover, people all have to be 100% united for a society like that to work long term. Unfortunately, agreeing 100% of the time is not human nature.
China isn't even really communist as communism is a philosophy built on the idea of everyone being equal. China is "communist" for the common folk, but has the most self-made billionaires in the world, implying that it's very much a capitalist country that can be exploited by those who have the means to rise in rank and status, in addition to having money and property.
So for me it's not even a matter of where I stand on communism, but where I stand o...
I think the player is supposed to fill in the nuance. The games give the player enough to ponder to perhaps contemplate deeper on the subjects touched upon. Sometimes fiction in general is just as much about what's not stated as what is. In fact, many people nowadays actually prefer when writing leaves gaps in certain areas that allow them to fill them with their own theories and ideas.
Both the original games and Infinite certainly gave us a lot to ponder. Now we...
Yeah...I'm actually preparing less for the spread of a pandemic that's barely afflicting people around here, but more for the effect mass panic and government intervention is going to have (and has already had) on everything. I'm also stocking up on everything I can in case my government really does force my region into lockdown for a week or two (there is a rumor circulating around that they might consider it if "things don't improve").
Can't you still have fun playing something even if you don't have the best K/D ratio? Some dicks might want to rain on your parade if you're not as good as they are, but those individuals are a cancer best ignored. If they want to get highly competitive then that's their business, but they don't have the right to tell someone to take something more seriously than they want to.
