Phil: "Can someone please make some exclusives for us."
Intelligent Japanese Devs: "Why would we do that? Like five people in our country have even bought your system, and you're even getting trounced worldwide by Japanese branded consoles, plus everyone in your country who likes our games owns at least one of those other systems. You'll have to offer us a lot of money to forego the far better revenue our games would generate elsewhere."
Agreed. The amount of crying in the competitor's camps over the new Spider-Man was something else, but I wasn't crying as I got to play it, and even platinumed it. Exclusives matter as when deciding which system to buy between two that are very similar, it's generally best to go with the one that has the most games you want to play.
@AngainorG7X More quality games is better. MS has a history of using studios for one of two games, then turning them into husks of what they were formerly, closing them, or sitting on them and simply refusing to acknowledge they exist. They already had some decent studios going into this gen and refused to use them. I fail to see how next gen will be that different beyond maybe having a decent launch lineup. Personally, I'll invest in the system that promises multiple years of great g...
No, they should be all about games. Technical improvements that enhance the experience are much higher on my list of things I'm looking forward to with next gen systems than crossplay. Most of all though, a nice new system needs great games. A game can have crossplay, but that would be a moot point if it sucks as no one will want to play it regardless.
Wow, I had no idea Yuri was voiced by the same actress who played Mitsuru in Persona 3. The more you know.
I'm all for advocating morality, but isn't half the point of the game to be able to play it however you want? The whole WRPG genre including this series is often, if not always, built around that idea. There are more organic ways to penalize murderous players anyways, such as having certain items or information much easier to acquire if certain NPCs are able to give it to you, whereas killing them off could require the player to find a backdoor to progress.
Well, considering it's tougher to put the game down than it is to rack up trophies, that doesn't surprise me. Oh, and I'm in the platinum club so I guess I contributed to that stat.
Because they can't harp on the pointless crossplay debacle anymore and they still don't have anyone on staff who can come up with an engaging topic to talk about.
Some may call me a fanboy for being overly fond of the PlayStation brand, but I wouldn't be if Sony and third parties weren't consistently providing me with so many great games to enjoy on PlayStation platforms, with many such titles being exclusives.
Wouldn't the best value console be the one you get the most gaming out of for the price? Ergo, I for one think the system that provides the most exclusives is a good place to start.
Technically, he faked his death so people may buy it even if they see Batman. This is the same general populace who has seen him around for years, with a good portion of his face exposed, and still didn't make the connection that he's Bruce Wayne. Of course, if Bruce wants to throw people off he could just have Nightwing or Robin play Batman for a while, but the citizens of Gotham are so dense he probably doesn't even need to do that. He could just say "I'm not Bruce&q...
That would be neat. I thought they were done with this series, but I guess it has been profitable for them.
Those of us who bought just the last two on PS4 haven't been burned all that much. I believe I got them both on sale too for about $50 in total, which is a bit more than this collection but not terribly so. I do wish I had waited now, but I guess it can't be helped.
I already own the two separate collections on PS4, and this looks like just one big collection of both those collections, one of which is also a collection of two PS3 collections (seems like we're getting one step closer to the singularity). Part of me does wish I had waited as that price is great, but I guess this is great news for those interested in these titles but haven't pulled the trigger on them yet.
People have been saying that since KH3 was announced. I'm not sure who the intended market for the XB1 version is, as most KH fans would have a PS4, especially if they're a fan of JRPGs and/or Japanese games in general. Xbox-only owners who've never played a KH game before and happen to check the latest game out are probably just going to be confused. Maybe there are KH fans who own multiple systems but prefer Xbox, but I personally like to stick with the same platform or famil...
At least they didn't release it alongside Spider-Man.
Every piece of media that shares that name will inevitably be compared to that cult classic that was the subject of parties I used to hold. Personally, I pictured running down a corridor to escape from a giant rampaging Tommy Wiseau as he was in the penultimate scene of the movie. Imagine him chasing you while knocking things off shelves for no reason. "Ahhhhhh". Oh, imagine if you were miniature-sized and having to jump from shelf to shelf before he "clears" them. So...
That's because you'd be hard pressed to murder someone with a disc and case, and if your copy is digital, you can't even beat your victim over the head with something physical. Even a plastic case isn't substantial enough that I'd consider it as a murder weapon, but I'm not in the business of killing people, so what do I know? Guns with bullets in them on the other hand, are very much lethal. If I wanted to kill someone, something along those lines would be way more...
Agreed. It's an alright game. Mass Effect and alright should never be used in the same sentence though. The original trilogy is deep. Andromeda should have been an improvement and not a step back. Art is never experienced in a vacuum and I for one think it's fair to compare sequels to past titles, especially when past titles do things better.
MS spends more on marketing than anyone else, and Xbox is still getting trounced. Marketing can help, but making sure to have quality games to sell should be their first priority.
