It will affect PlayStation by making it first place out of four systems, instead of first place out of three. On the plus side, XB1 earning bronze doesn't seem as bad by comparison as I don't think the Stadia can even compete with it. Actually, scratch that. The Stadia needs to earn its place just to be added to the rankings. I mean, no one ever considered the placement of the Ouya and Steam Box because they sold so poorly. There's the Stadia's initial competition. It ne...
You mean, a new arcana? Yeah, that could work. If the Aeon arcana could be shoehorned in to P3FES, this can definitely be a thing. It lends further credibility to the notion that this character will join the supporting cast.
Ask SE about that. These games are by different companies.
Well, I no longer have a gf, so I can spend all the time I want with Ann once again...or maybe this new girl. I'm getting a tsundere vibe from her, and I kind of like that trope.
@Protagonist She does look a lot like the FeMC from P3P, but I don't know about that. I get the sense she's going to be a new supporting character (whether she be a party member or someone else). For one thing, she's already talked a lot more than protagonists in this series normally do.
Were you following the initial Persona 5 announcement? Atlus likes to troll its fans (but in a good way that increases hype).
Oh no...life won't be the same without being able to go to a store and buy a code for a game, then bring it back home to download it instead of just...paying for the game and downloading it. Also, can't people without credit cards just buy PSN cards? That's a thing, right? They can just buy those. I'm guessing Sony was thinking the same thing.
Thank you Gamingbolt. We've been bombarded by so many trash articles claiming Google's Stadia will singlehandedly change an industry they have yet to prove themselves in that I almost forgot about last year's trash. Thank you for the trip down memory lane, and please, never try and write an article worth reading. We wouldn't want your site to be worth anyone's time.
A service from a company who has established themselves in the console market and whose devices capable of running said service are in tens of millions of homes already vs a service from a company that’s even more unbelievably large, but who hasn’t established their place in the industry and who has yet to finish unveiling their device let alone sell any of them? I almost never say this, but yeah, I think MS will come out in top in that fight. I’m personally not interested in either service...
Translation: they’re not investing in exclusives, so this thing will flop hard. If that’s not enough, they’re apparently going to focus on securing games designed for streaming, which I’m assuming means nothing anywhere near what I expect from a full retail game. I’m also not liking the way this thing is being promoted, and am more and more inclined to avoid it on principle every time their spokesperson opens his mouth, who curiously enough is named Phil, much like a certain other individua...
Sony isn’t shoving Now down our throats the way MS is with Gamepass. That’s why. It is a service they offer though, and one that millions of people have signed up for.
Because they focused on games, and made sure to actually use all their IPs rather than sitting on them like some companies have. They also put time and effort into what they made and didn’t just slap together a turd and assume it would sell it on name brand alone like some companies have. They’ve also shown they care about their roots and provided us with some great retro collections in addition to all the solid modern games they’ve put out.
So yes, Capcom deserves prop...
Stadia hasn’t started anything until it proves itself and sells well enough. I for one am betting it will be completely forgotten about by this time next year.
It has to sell first for it to be a threat. Call me if it turns out this system isn’t the next Ouya or Steam Box, because if it sells as well as those, it will “revolutionize” nothing.
Not surprising. Hot spring scenes are clearly on the list of things various companies have decided Westerners can’t have.
Sony and Nintendo are the future of game consoles if I have any say about it. I just need tens of millions of other people to agree with me.
You’re assuming this Stadia won’t turn out to be the next Ouya or Steam Box. Wait until it achieves success first before assuming it’s this huge game-changer. I’m sure not planing on getting one unless I’m thoroughly convinced otherwise, and that sure as heck won’t be at launch.
We’re heading into a future where it’s debatable whether it will be worth owning an Xbox, let alone a device by a company that’s admittedly very large, but who has yet to prove they belong in th...
Yep, this comes as no surprise to me. Xbox has been dead to me for a while though, so I won’t be showing my support for their latest agenda-pushing initiative.
Eh...it depends. I'm all for exploring a game's world, but when you have to travel back and forth through it many times over, it's nice to have an option to skip traveling that same road for the millionth time, especially when you don't have as much time to play games as you used to and find that an inordinate amount of precious game time amounts to little more than just walking from place to place. It's made more enjoyable when the game's world is interesting and ex...
I would say, yeah. A quality game is a quality game regardless of when it's played. I mean, obviously games look better now and game mechanics have evolved too, but I also kind of miss the pre-DLC era and between you and me, while I think it's great that there's a lot more to the most recent Metal Gear Solid games, I also kind of miss the simplicity of just being Snake and stealthing through Shadow Moses.
