Which is what will happen if Sony continues the path they've been going. Most PlayStation fans will be busy playing the many expected PS exclusives. But if their game is good enough it'll keep your attention.
Developers need to be more careful with this timed-exclusive stuff. Interest dies after a long period of time like that.
Well we'll find out if we want it or not when they show us some gameplay. Since I'm buying a PS4 in fall (if that IS it's release date), and moving all my game purchasing to that and (already) PC/Steam, I have zero problem waiting until it releases on PS4 or PC.
It's pretty much confirmed as a timed exclusive for nextBox for about a year or so. So it will be releasing on PS4 as well, just a bit later. Not sure about PS3/360/PC.

My first thought when I saw the small image was 'Ashe from Final Fantasy XII?'. But nope, it's just a grown-up Sunny in a game I'm never going to play.
Why is it that these games look worse in image form? I don't remember them looking so bad. And even some of these I've played recently and they all looked fantastic.
Ricky Gervais starring in a PS4 commercial would be fantastic. Add some Carl and Steve in there, too, for good measure.
Curious as to why they used that image.
I hope Sony announces bigger and cheaper memory cards for the Vita on Feb 20th or at E3. Because I struggle as it is to pick and choose what games I want to keep on my 16GB (actually 14GB) memory card. And the biggest problem is not deleting games to make up space, it's the downloading, which can take a while.
With Apple showing off their 128GB iPad, I hope Sony announces a 16/32GB internal memory Vita, and add lot more space on their external memory cards for much cheape...
I think there may only be a tiny percentage of PlayStation gamers who will be selling/trading their PS3 for the PS4. I know I'll be keeping my PS3 like I've kept the PS1 and 2 before it.
Not even because I'll be using my PS3 to play PS3 games when I have a PS4. It's mostly because I just like to collect game related stuff. I rarely, if ever, trade in games, so I don't see myself trading my console.
The Walking Dead is just Night of the Living Dead in comic form. The concept behind that graphic novel is not that unique.
Well they pretty much perfected 3D Platformers when Crash Bandicoot first came out, pushed open world games with Jak and Daxter, reinvented the action/shooter/platformer genres with Uncharted (Uncharted 2 being one of the games known for closing the gap between movie and game), and is reinventing Survival/Horror with Last of Us.
Would not be surprised if this is actually the one they use. But didn't they say the touch pad would be on the back?
Well you can't "love" something until you really know it right? I think he means that they see their phone can play games, and don't really care for gaming as an entity. Rather just have scores to compete with their friends in games like angry birds or the like.
Gamers (those invested in the industry) in general will give most games a try, regardless of platform, I think. For example, I have over 100 games on Steam and PS3, around 20-30 on iPhone (mostly fr...
XboxLive if you like paying over $50 a year for Skype (I can group chat on Skype/Steamchat too), a nice UI, and demo's before Silver users.
PS+ if you like video games. Which if I remember correctly is what this whole "Video game console" thing is about. Maybe I'm wrong, and people would rather have a nice UI than free* video games. Who knows.
My personal opinion is that XboxLive is a scam. Folks who only own Xbox's need to pay full pri...
I personally won't care if it's in or not (hardware-wise). Although it'd be cool if you could get recognized for the purchases you did make, and use Gaikai as a game streaming service to play the games you already own.
I don't NEED to play my PS3 games on my PS4, but it'd be nice if I ever feel like it. Although I've been buying all my games digitally where I can for the last year now. So most of the games I will want to play I'll most likely be a...
I think the reason they didn't name it PSP2 is because they released "PSP-2000/3000". They probably didn't want people to confuse the Vita with another version of the PSP. And if I remember correctly, they actually called them by the number on the box.
The Vita is named as such as to avoid confusion.
ex:
PSP
PSP-2000
PSP-3000
PSP-E1000
Your comparison:
PlayStation
PSOne

It's kind of funny because it's Sony's arrogance that hurt them in the beginning, and Microsoft's arrogance that hurt them in the end (not as bad as it hurt Sony, mind you).
But I have a feeling they both know where they're going with their next consoles. Maybe it's just me growing out of it, but I feel it'll be a more friendly go next generation. Like they'll both fight for gamers' attention, but they'll understand where they stand in...
This game was absolutely boss on the Wii, so I'll be picking it up for my Vita for sure.
This is completely false. Heavenly Sword is one of PS3's most loved "launch" titles. And Enslaved was honestly underrated.
As for that reviewers comment, that's complete bullshit. The only people complaining are the 20-30 people on the internet, while hundreds of thousands of gamers play and enjoy the game.
Whether or not it matches previous DMC standards is another beast all together. But DmC is certainly a really good game and well worth ...
I could see them riding the currently PS3 price, or lowering it to $249 for the current most expensive bundle (that get games packed in with them).
When the PS4 launches I can see them lowering it to $199 for the highest end PS3 bundle, most likely including PSMove and a few Move games. And probably $99 for the 12GB superslim (maybe packed with PSMove).
At least this way they can keep selling the PS3 in these fun little bundles, and maybe use the PS3's ...
