I like the change in style this game seems to have gone through. It looks different than the last game. It looks beautiful. And of course we all know the gameplay is going to be top notch.
Wow, that looks fantastic. One more great game to add to the PS3's amazing lineup.
I seriously doubt this, especially considering the source.
I have both consoles so I don't really care either way.
Oh come on guys, that list is really good. The PS3 has a really good lineup and so does the 360. I don't like fanboys on either side.
No, you're wrong. I like both machines and there are lots of reasons to like the 360--excellent performance with multi-platform games, great exclusives (just like the PS3), and the best online service.
I like both consoles but I can see why, depending on a person's preference, they might prefer the 360 or the PS3.
Nobody can deny that Microsoft have achieved some amazing things this generation. Going from being the new kid on the block last generation that was dead last to a strong second place is a huge achievement. The competition of having the 360 in the market has also served to make Sony a better game company. I can't wait to see what's next for the 360.
Splinter Cell is hardly lame. As much as I like MGS, I actually like the Splinter Cell series more. Splinter Cell Conviction is one of my most anticipated games.

Please show me who is stating facts that are getting disagrees.
I love my PS3, but articles like these seem highly premature when E3 is right around the corner. We have more than half the year left, so I think it only makes sense to wait until after E3 if we want to have any kind of sensible debate about which console we think is going to have the better lineup for the year.
I remember the same thing happened last year in which everybody was sa...
People have a lot of confusion about this. Of course sales matter. Developers and publishers need to get paid, after all, if we ever want to see a sequel.
That said, sales don't determine how good a game is. Lots of very good games sold poorly (Okami, Beyond Good & Evil, Psychonauts, etc.) and lots of bad games sold well (50 Cent, etc.).
I know what you are trying to say about sales indicating what the public thinks about a certain game, but from an individu...
I own both consoles and I tend to buy more games for my 360, but that is mainly because I buy most of my multiplatform games for the 360 since most of them look and/or perform better on the 360.
That said, I think both consoles have a good number of exclusives. So far this year I do think the PS3 has a had a bit more good exclusives released (mainly because of Killzone 2), but people are silly to count out Microsoft this early in the year. We still have more than half a year le...
I was actually surprised by how fun the demo was. I was thinking more along the lines of an 8. But it seems really good in any case.
I have no doubt that Microsoft will have a great showing.
Whether Sony or MS will have a better showing...who knows. I am personally looking forward to both of their showings equally.
Every company takes existing ideas and expands on them. That is how things evolve.
Microsoft has innovated as much or more than any console maker has. I remember the first time I played on LIVE last gen and thinking to myself "wow, this is brilliant". Sony has since done many of the same things. And you know what...? I'm glad. I like having trophies for my PS3 games. I like playing online with a persistent identity.
The competition between all the co...
Guys, stop it. I have both games and they are both a lot of fun. Killzone 2 controls beautifully and I can't understand how anybody could have a problem with that. Gears of War is a blast and it isn't glitchy the way some people make it out to be. Again, they are both great games.
Looks AMAZING! Damn, I can't wait for this game. I'm playing through Mass Effect again right now and it has a few technical issues, but other than that it is one of the best games to come out this generation.
Fix the technical issues, improve the menus, and give us another sweeping and satisfying tale and I really think ME2 will have the potential to be in the running for game of the year.
Didn't even affect me. Seriously though, the service being down for a couple hours once in a blue moon is no big deal at all.
Typical that fanboys would try to play it up.
Two of my most anticipated games--Splinter Cell Conviction and Assassin's Creed 2--are Ubisoft games. I love Ubisoft.
I hope it is Onimusha for PS3/360.
Well personally, in terms of the single player portions I actually liked Uncharted better than either Gears of War games. The Gears games are really good games but Uncharted was something special. I know that Naughty Dog are going to do a fantastic job with the multi-player aspects of the new game.
