I had the chance to play the game at BestBuy and it further proved itself to be an awesome game. I want it really bad, but I don't have the money at the moment. Hopefully won't be too long.
Anyway, great job Sucker Punch.
Hey Mart, I love my 360 and it is an awesome console, but you're being an idiot to say that the only game on PS3 worth having is LBP. There are lots of good games on the PS3, just as there are on the 360. They are both good consoles and I don't know why people have to take sides and hate on the other side.
Sure, like anybody expects you to do a fair comparison.
inFamous is a really fun game and nothing is going to change that, even if Prototype ends up looking better. The only thing that might change is that we will have two good open-world action games this year instead of one.
No matter what though, you will probably never admit that inFamous is a very good game.
I too love Bioware and Mass Effect. It is one of my favorite games on the 360 and the sequel is one of my most anticipated games.
This sounds really good. I mean, if they truly make it fresh in some ways I'll definitely be getting it. But if it is the same old gameplay as the last three I probably will pass. Halo 3's gameplay was already starting to feel a little tired to me. What I'm hearing though, sounds very promising.
All the Halo games are pretty good. I have them all and I like the first one the best as a single player experience and the second one the best for multi-player. However, for me personally a couple other shooters have since surpassed Halo--Namely COD4 and Killzone 2.
I have no doubt Microsoft will have some great stuff to show at E3 and I can't wait. I am more excited for this E3 in general than the past few E3s. Sony already has a fantastic lineup and anything new will just be that much cooler. Microsoft's lineup so far isn't so great, but I am sure they will reveal some really amazing stuff.
It looks really great. But for those who have been saying that it is going to blow away Alan Wake, I am not so sure. I think we need to wait until we see Alan Wake actually running on a 360 before we can compare them.
Personally I am looking forward to both of them.
What you're talking about is simple subjective aesthetic appreciation. However, for people with a technical background or people who have some knowledge of the technical aspects of game graphics it is easy to see that some games are more technically advanced than others.
Gears of War is more graphically advanced than Halo 1, for instance, and no subjective "opinion" is ever going to change that fact.
Killzone 2 by the same criteria is a more graphically ad...
That really isn't accurate.
For one thing the original Xbox was more powerful than the PS2 by quite a large margin, which isn't the case this generation where the two HD consoles are much closer in performance.
Second, the PS2, like the PS3, was a more difficult machine to work with for many developers. The Xbox was much more straight forward for the tradition game developer.
So when you combine the fact that the 360 was much more powerful (after all ...
I hope it is Onimusha. I love that series so much.
I do think that so far the PS3 has some of the best looking games. But like I have said in previous posts, I don't really think the difference between the consoles' graphical performance potential is as significant as some people believe.
Both consoles are actually pretty similar in many ways, with each having a few unique strengths over the other. The PS3 does have a decent bit more CPU power to work with and with Sony's stable of developments studios they have the talent to...
Exactly. Both consoles and the companies that make them have their faults, as well as their strengths.
All in all though, I think the competition between them is good for the health of the industry and is really helping to bring to gamers some of the best gaming experiences ever created.
Over time both companies will learn from their mistakes and improve. That can only be a good thing for gamers.
Yeah, it's really fun and addicting. They nailed the gameplay and the atmosphere. It's just a blast.
Wow guys, you were right, Infamous is awesome!
Yep, I have to get this game.
I know. It didn't get a 9.5 or above, so I'm not playing it.
That was a very well done review. I enjoyed it.
Oh, and Infamous is going to be great. I am really looking forward to it.
I agree with you about the PS3 having lots of really good exclusives, but I completely disagree about the Wii having better exclusives than the 360. Maybe that is true for your tastes, but for my tastes the Wii doesn't have much that appeals to me. I love Nintendo for what they did in the past, but this generation they haven't given me much to work with. I think the 360 is doing awesome and certainly far better than the Wii.
Nevertheless, I respect your difference of opinion. ...
Count me in for wanting Onimusha. I love those games.
