Good score for ODST. GameInformer is one of my go-to sources for reviews, because their reviews are usually spot on in my opinion. I am sure Uncharted 2 is going to get an amazing review as well. GameInformer seem to always have the same feeling about games as me and Uncharted 2 and Halo 3 ODST were the two biggest games I was looking forward to this holiday.
To be fair though, I don't think any gamer cares what other people think of a game either. That is what reviews are: other people's opinions about a game. Sales and reviews matter, but they shouldn't be what determines what a gamer likes and buys.
I buy what I like regardless of sales or reviews.
Yes, 360 owners should get a PS3 to play games like Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls and PS3 owners should get a 360 to play games like Halo 3 ODST and Mass Effect 2. Then maybe we wouldn't have so much fanboyism.
This is a big 'so what?' moment. What's weird about one group of top developers wanting to check out what another top developer has created? I swear, fanboyism is ruining gaming. Why was an article like this even written?
I agree, people really opened their mouth too soon on that.
I have both consoles and I agree that Uncharted 2 will be the much better game. But I respect other people's rights to have a different opinion. Personally, though, Uncharted 2 will blow everything else away this year.
I think you are right cmrbe. I think it is really Nasim or somebody else impersonating a 360 fanboy. Nobody could be that stupid.
Uncharted 2 stands on its own. Besides, it is quite normal to bundle games that are sequels.
Anyway, sorry fishy, but I have to agree with Ldubbz on this one. Calling ODST "DLC" does sound like a backhanded unsult. It might be a side story to the main game, but it is still a full-fledged retail game.
CoolirisGB, Uncharted is far, far from an average game. It's one of the best games I have ever played. The second one looks even better.
Too bad I already own a PS3. This bundle would be perfect. Sigh...
That's what I was wondering. Why is everyone making a big deal about nothing? All I see are slight differences. Some things look better in the new build and some things looked better in the old build, but it is all very subtle. This is one of the reasons I got my PS3 originally and I still can't wait to play it.
Those failure rates are totally false. If either console had failure rates that high they wouldn't still be around, I guarantee you that. My 360 died once a long time ago and has been running fine since, while my PS3 has never had a real problem (aside from freezing when I use the browser. Does anyone know what causes that?)
A larger hard drive would be nice for the 360. 120GB isn't bad, but I am the type of person that uses a lot of space for music and downloads so I would l...
No, that's actually wrong. The burden of proof rests on the person making a claim.
If someone comes up to you and tells you your mother is a whore, the burden of proof lies with the person making the claim. It isn't your burden to prove that she isn't just because someone made that claim. (Ok, horrible analogy, but you get my point.)
I like the PS3 more than the 360, but I don't think for a minute that those survey result were accurate at all. Besides, that same ...
Value is in the eyes of the beholder. I find the most value in the PS3, but some people find more value in the 360 or even the Wii.
Nice comment kamikaze. I have both of the consoles for that very reason. I do have a preference for the PS3, but they both have good games and people should go with what they like.
Actually, that is nice to hear. I don't pay for Xbox LIVE and any extra features they give to us Silver members is good.
I'm a huge PS3 fan, but let's not take pressure off Sony to make PSN better. Unfortunately, I still think Xbox LIVE is better, but I don't want to pay for it. I am fairly happy with what PSN has become, but I still am hoping that Sony will improve it in a few important ways. I am just saying that we shouldn't take the pressure off Sony to improve PSN by saying that it is already just as good as LIVE.
I'll admit, I prefer the look of my original PS3, but the Slim is nice looking in another way. It looks utilitarian and well-built. I really go for that look. Everything it does is the real attraction though. Good move, Sony, good move.
Looks pretty nice. I might get this along with GT5 when it drops.
Nice to see the PSP numbers are up. I love that hand held. PS3 numbers are a little lower this week, but these kinds of things always fluctuate. Nintendo systems are still dominating, which I don't understand, but whatever. Xbox 360 is doing a little bit better in Japan this generation, but its numbers are still pretty low.
Don't ask that question. The answer is constantly in flux.
