Alan Wake is one of the best games I ever played. It has a great narrative, and amazing graphics and atmosphere. I truly loved the whole journey.
I prefer my PS3, but I was just wondering what game on day 1 of the PS3's life looked better than Gears of War or Alan Wake?
Like I said I love my PS3, but I don't remember playing any really good looking games when it first came out.
This looks cool. I think Move has so much potential.
Well, I think this article takes it too far, but I was pretty impressed by Kinect. It looks fun.
It looks really good to me. I want to play it for myself.
I agree with you that they need more first party studios. I think they underestimate how important that is for distinguishing your brand. In all honesty they have done pretty well considering how few studios they own, but they would be doing amazing if they had a few more solid studios under their wings.
I think Microsoft's conference was pretty decent, but I think we need to wait for Sony's before we take all this crap too far. Sony might knock it out of the ballpark or they might disappoint. No one really knows.
I think it is a fabulous looking game. I don't understand how anybody could say that looks bad unless they are just being a fanboy. Hmm...
It looks different that Uncharted 2, but it looks very good in its own way.
I kind of agree. I mean, I love Killzone 2 but it still isn't quite to the same quality level as Halo in my opinion. That said, I am really looking forward to both Halo Reach and Killzone 3.
I too am very impressed with the trailer. It shows a beautiful game and the part at the end with the space combat was a surprise that I think will really be unique and add something special to the Halo universe.
What evidence is there that Microsoft didn't fix the problem in the newer 360s over the past year or two? I have never heard any solid evidence that there was a problem beyond the first couple years. Nobody I know has had a newer 360 fail and we have to remember that a small percentage of all electronics devices will fail, but that doesn't mean that the problem was still widespread.
So, aside from anecdotal evidence (which with the way fanboyism is on the internet...
I at least partially agree. The new 360 S was a great move and the Arcade at $150 is an exceptional bargain. I think the 360 will get a nice boost from this.
I must be lucky, I haven't had my PS3 or 360 die on me. I have had friends though whose 360s and PS3s have died on them and I know it sucks.
Sheesh guys, why so much negativity? I think there is a lot of potential in Kinect. I generally liked what I saw.
The music truly is awesome. I loved that trailer. Deus Ex is one of the true masterpieces of gaming in my opinion. I hope this game turns out as good as it seems it might.
I don't think people care that much about Blu-ray. You can get Blu-ray players for like $100 now.
This is false. I know lots of people, myself included, who have had their 360s for a long time with no problems. A few of them had problems early on but after getting their 360s fixed have not had any problems since.
I still find lots of games I want to play on my 360, just like my PS3. I think you need to open your eyes a little bit.
I'm sorry, but that's really poor reasoning. Most likely Microsoft have simply wanted to save everything for its grand unveiling instead of watering down its impact with a steady stream of smaller reveals.
Sadly, I've come to see it that way as well. I like all of my consoles and I probably even like my PS3 a little more, but I can't take all of the irrationality and fanboyism.
