Yeah the brutal melees would be awesome in multiplayer. I also think the jump packs will be a lot of fun. I hope they have both of those things in multiplayer.
I hope they have an open beta in the coming months. Killzone 3 is going to be one epic, badass game.
@Army of Darkness
Me too, man, me too. I want to see the jungle level they have mentioned. Killzone 2 was already one of the best looking games ever, but there could have been a little more variety to the look of the levels. I am so excited for Killzone 3 because not only is it going to have the amazing graphics that Killzone 2 had (probably a little bett...
Isn't it Game Developers Conference?
Guys, none of your opinions is wrong. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on matters of taste. And games are certainly a matter of taste.
[As an aside, we are not entitled to our opinions on matters of fact, only on matters of taste. For example, it is a fact that more units of the DS have been sold than of the PSP, so it is not ok to have an "opinion" that the PSP has sold more units than the DS. Facts must be respected, but when it is only a matter of tast...
I can definitely see why the PS3-PC combo is the best two platforms to own if you have can only choose 2. I have a 360 and I think it is a decent console, but if I had it to do over again I would probably have invested in a PC instead. My damn laptop can't run crap.
If you can only own 2 platforms I would say PS3 + PC is the best solution to cover the most bases.
The next best is the PS360 combo.
Finally, the PS3/Wii combo.
I agree that the list articles are getting a little overdone.
Other than that, I could give a lot more than 5 reasons to get a PS3. It's simply the best console I have ever owned.
I've played the beta and there is no doubt that it looks a lot better than previous Halo games.
People that think that disc storage space has much to do with visuals are funny.
I don't know but it really seems like gamingbolt's comparisons are always biased. I have noticed that in several comparisons in the past.
That's why I hate simple screenshot comparisons. By selectively picking certain shots you can give any impression you want. I could make Assassin's Creed look better than Uncharted 2 if I wanted, just by the shots I choose.
It looks nice.
Yes because people looking for a good shooter are going to buy a racing sim instead. That makes a ton of sense.
I'm not convinced either one is more powerful. They just do things differently. The 360 seems to excel at cross platform games and the PS3 seems to excel with devoted 1st party efforts on exclusives.
Except he didn't say anything about graphics, smart guy. He was talking about features.
I love the games by those developers, but try not to be such a fanboy and actually read what people have written.
Yep, Halo Reach really is amazing.
Yes, we would wet "our" knickers. ;)
Lost Odyssey was a great JRPG. I lean more towards the PS3, but honestly Lost Odyssey was superb. Too bad it didn't get more recognition at the time.
Exactly. This is why I think it is totally hypocritical and naive to bash Americans based on the relative sales of current generation consoles. Americans buy whatever they feel offers them the best experience for the money, no matter what country that product originates from.
The last two generations people in the US bought a huge number of PS1s and PS2s. This generation there is still strong support for the PS3, there just happens to be more for the 360. People also seem ...
I prefer the PS3, but you sound totally biased.
You act like the rest of the world hates the 360 when in fact around half the 360's overall sales are from places other than North America.
Oh believe me, it will move some. Not everybody that wants a 360 has a 360 yet. Halo Reach might be the game that pushes them over the edge to buy a 360.
Just like Little Big Planet 2 might be the game that pushes some people to get a PS3. Simply because Little Big Planet is already on the PS3 doesn't mean that LBP2 might not be the game that pushes some people past the tipping point.
I don't understand this attitude some people have that games are...
It really does look great. Bungie seem to have done an amazing job with the game.
