All three of those are excellent games. I honestly don't know what you are talking about.
I can only speak for myself and I have to say that Uncharted DF and Uncharted 2 are two of my favorite games of all time. I have no doubt that a 3rd Uncharted would be amazing as well.
darkride66, I have looked into this topic and it's definite that all three platform holders report sold to retail. None of them do it differently. Sony used to report the number of units shipped to their own warehouses, but now they report sold to retail just like Nintendo and Microsoft do.
jneul, you are comparing apples to oranges. Just because one game does it doesn't mean a completely different game doing completely different things with its engine is going to just magically do the same thing.
Alan Wake has very advanced lighting and also has 4xAA if I remember correctly. The environments it is rendering also are pretty large, with lots of trees and long vistas.
Obviously it isn't as easy as saying "well, GOW3 does 720p and ha...
Sales don't equal quality, right?
Alan Wake was a brilliant game that deserved to sell better.
You can't really get any more open world than Elder Scrolls Oblivion or Fallout 3 and both of those games fit just fine on a DVD.
The other thing is, I don't notice PS3 exclusives being extra long or anything. I mean, I love Uncharted 2 and God of War 3, but they really aren't any longer than most games I play on either console.
Still boring troll.
No, Bungie lowered the damage of the frag grenades.
Hey, I like Killzone 2 a lot, it's just that a lot of people are hating on Halo Reach when the Halo games have also always had really great AI.
Yes, it sounds like it. I have always loved the AI in Halo games and I don't think this one will be any exception.
I think Vanquish looks outstanding, but I don't think it makes every other shooter look lame. I am still impressed by several other shooters. The action in Vanquish does look very hectic, in a good way.
Sounds great. I can't wait for LBP2.
Thanks for being sensible. I am more of a PS3 fan than a 360 fan, but I don't like when people lose all rationality simply because their inner fanboy takes control.
Halo Reach is essentially Halo 4, in the sense that it's the 4th full Halo game.
So we have 4 full Halo games across two generations of consoles. That is far from milked.
How many full Ratchet & Clank games have there been over the two generations of consoles? 6 or 7?
It isn't milked.
All I see is a bunch of biased people that don't apply the same criteria to games on their favorite console.
The fact is, the 360 has been out for going on 5 years and there has been 1 full Halo game, 1 side story expansion, 1 RTS spin off, and soon to be another full Halo game, Halo Reach.
The PS3 is going on 4 years and already we have seen 2 full Ratchet & Clank games, 1 expansion, and maybe a new one on the ...
+1
I fully agree.
I agree with you Arnon, this game was great. It deserves to be played by more people.
It sounds like Guerrilla is on the right track for Killzone 3. I like the improvements that they have talked about and I can't wait until they reveal more.
Fine, your loss. I loved the first Deus Ex and the second was not too far behind it. The first one was a masterpiece and the second one was a fantastic game. Even if Human Revolution is no better than Invisible War (which I seriously doubt, based on everything I have seen) it will still be better than 90% of the games these days and it will still be one of my favorite games of the generation.
Hmm...I thought God of War 3 was an amazing looking game, but I still think Uncharted 2 looks better in general.
