If RE4 sells well on Wii, expect more direct Gamecube ports.

He didn't mention the 360 lineup for holiday 2007. He focused on the PS3 game and console cost while ignoring the 360 console cost.

Geoff came out of nowhere with mods for PS3 and how developer"s" are choosing PS3 over Xbox 360 because Sony allows PC-developed mods. That can't be true. Developers must host their own servers when making online content for the PS3. There may be 1 developer that wants to do this, but the vast majority of developers flock to Xbox Live since they don't have to manage servers.

Now I'm actually interested in it. I wasn't going to pay $60 for BK, but now that it's an XBLA game, I'll check it out. XBLA is turning out to be a major asset to the 360.

How can he predict a PS3 victory when so many factors are against Sony? Price, lack of games, huge competition, fading brand loyalty, old franchises, etc.

Soul Calibur has always been rated "Teen". Unless they rate SC4 "Mature" then I think this teaser is just a teaser.
That's right. You can download all of the movies and tv shows in hi-def at 56kbps. If it takes 3 days or more to order a movie by mail, 56kpbs would be much faster. If you maintained a queue that constantly downloaded, you wouldn't have enough time to watch it all.
VGChartz extrapolates old NPD data. They don't survey retail or customers. NPD does the real footwork.

This means the Wii is a modified Gamecube. No shaders on Wii. No game on Wii can match Halo 1.
It is unlawful to open and tinker with the 360, so any discoveries that are made couldn't be credited to the hacker.
Square will give us some good games soon. I still will try the demo when I get home.
I was hoping for pics that were not from the demo. The game looks great and I will be buying it June 26!
Half-Life 2 was a let down. There were very few normal maps and no realtime shadows. Deus Ex: IW came out a year before HL2 and had excellent physics, realtime shadows, and normal mapping galore. The facial animations in HL2 were decent but severely limited.
My comment was directed at those which owned the Gamecube. There were a few old games which were "remakes" for the GC. Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid were remade. Now the Wii is getting a port of RE4. What's next? Maybe Wii owners will get Resdient Evil and MGS, again, for the 3rd time.
