Valve takes an eternity to finish their games. When we see a playable demo, you expect the game 2 years later.
MS has XNA which enables anyone to make a premium game or XBLA game. Sony is "open", but doesn't provide tools to support user based game creation.
Since Nintendo kept the exact specs a secret, I assume this will make official Wii specs public.
Rated M with nudity, cool.
They said that the clothing causes realtime indentations in the skin! You wil also be able to create your own characters. The game looks like it has come along pretty far, but we still have to wait until 2008. :(
I can't wait for Blue Dragon! I think I'll preoreer it now.
There were about 20 objects which is no big deal, even for Xbox 1. With a PhysX card, I expected a full destructable environment, people with real organs that could be ripped out, and the ability to manipulate liquid.
A date has never been set. Gamestop still shows a 9/3 release date.
However, if the game is released next year, it had better have a silky-smooth framerate.
"9 exlusive Wii titles" means "we have a ton of old PS2 games that we can port".
The "exclusive" Halo 3 preview could have been written months ago. It's just beta coverage.
More Sony lies:
1) The PS3 launch will be Spring 2006.
2) The PS3 will have 2 HDMI ports and support 2 HDTVs at 1080p simultaneously.
3) The PSP will have 7.1 Dolby Surround.
Patcher was right about the early success of the Wii. He may also be right about the Wii being a "fad".
His comment about game prices is not totally accurate. Although games cost $50 in 1995, the market was smaller. The market has exploded since then, so the demand is up. If games cost more money, the market would shrink.
When used in that context, it's spelled "Too". Such as , "Too Human".
It's not final nor official.
It may have been factual (we don't know since no names were mentioned), but it was boring info and very little at that.
I find it odd that they entitled it "Haze". It's not that far from "Halo". After viewing the latest screen shots, I'm not impressed. I think this is another Killzone (the first one on PS2). It's supposed to be a Halo killer, but it's not even on the same level.
Only 2 employees were quoted at their own retail outlets. One of them said it was "under 30% at launch" and decreased since. The other said it was just over 30%. The article is not scientific at all. MS doesn't have a 30% failure rate.
Brett (owner of VGChartz) said, "Considering the site is essentially run by one person (who also has a full time job and fiancée) and is offered to people for free then I think many have expectations which are far too high. I do my best with the information I have but of course it is not perfect."
So, he opens his interview with some whine. He admits that is numbers are not accurate! End of story...
They gave it a decent score. This looks like a good game. They didn't talk much about developing your own throne. I hope it's deep.
Those suits look real. Every little screw is included! Cool.
Spore will fail.
