Crysis will be good, but the game play looks very close to Half-Life 2. The graphics will make it fun (yes, Wii fans, good graphics make games more fun), but keep your hopes down a bit. It's from the makers of Far Cry, which was a good (not great) FPS.
The only thing that matters is the game.
Bioware makes the greatest RPG of all time (KOTOR) and then dumps the sequel to Obsidian. Bioware then makes one of the worst RPGs of all time (Jade Empire) in a lame attempt to make their own IP. I don't see a Star Wars games coming from Bioware.
All he talks about is "weed" and "f* this and f* that". He's not providing his readers with facts. He's just entertaining himself.
The Cell only has 1 core (PPE) and 8 SPEs. The 360 CPU has 3 cores with hyper-threading. That's all I know about technology.
I just want a good frame rate. 30 FPS constant is good. Anything less (at any time) is unacceptable. I don't care about the release date, just the frame rate! Thanks for listening. :)
The only exclusive game Microsoft ever had with Namco was Breakdown. I think it was an experiment for Namco since it was an first-person fighter. They may have thought that it would appeal to Xbox owners. Also, Mistwalker is funded by Microsoft projects. Without MS there is no MW. Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are 360 exclusives and will never be ported to the PS3.
I have heard far more foolish comments from gamers about Jack Thompson, than foolish things Thompson has stated. His life was threatened. It was probably made by a 15 year old without much thought, but it is still against the law to threaten a man's life. If you want to win a debate, focus on the truth. Counter his words with true statements.
The biggest titles in history were "unknown" before they were made. It also important to recognize that games sell systems. Microsoft has great games on the 360.
30 FPS or higher. I don't care about delays, only frame rates.
It's hard to deny that Microsoft has taken a huge lead against Sony. PS3s are not selling very fast. In fact, they are selling at a slower pace than the original Xbox. I don't see how the PS3 will dominate like the PS2.
The critical mass is frame rate. 720p @ 60 FPS would be great.
MGS4 and FFXIII will come out Christmas 2008 at the earliest. Regarding Halo 3, it won't slip. If anything it will be released earlier. He was just saying that the 11-1 date was "fake".
Sony officially stopped production of the 20GB PS3 (except Japan). So, the price difference is $120.
Dual HDMI? I hope you don't think Sony kept their promise of dual HDMI. They didn't.
So many people are making fools of themselves when they complain about a new model. It seems to me that DS owners bought DS Lites and loved it. I don't remember complaints about being "shafted". What happens when Nintendo makes a new Wii?
The motherboard and CPU have changed in the Elite model. It may not be the smaller 65nm CPU, but changes have been made.

Quote from article:
"5. It will still be really loud. By not including a more efficient, cooler-running 65 nanometer processor, we assume the Elite will continue to pump out an irritating racket when turned on, primarily due to its noisy cooling fan."
Great reporting. Aren't you supposed to see something before reporting on it?
This can't be true since Sony would never announce a price cut before making the cut. People would wait until the price drop to buy a PS3. Sony will likely dispel this rumor today. (Or make the price drop immediately)
Nintendo sold over 400,000 units in February and then sold 250,000 in March. So, either demand slowed or Nintendo purposefully made fewer consoles. Either way, Nintendo can produce enough Wiis to meet demand (Unless one of their factories burned down?).
