Many of those games are coming next year. We also have to wait and see on a few of the new IPs. Lair is rumoured to be a stinker. How will Heavenly Sword score? If I bought a PS3, HS would be my first pick, but I wouldn't expect it to be amazing. The cutscene animations look very good, though.
But the 360 has some amazing new IPs by proven developers as well as Halo 3. Do you think the games you listed are better than the 360 lineup through November?
It's a single incident at 1 CompUSA, if we trust the photo. It is not "advertising". It is a kiosk that failed. The same thing happens to PS3 and Wii kiosks.
Home isn't out until November (supposedly), so that's not a good reason to "buy it now". The PS3 has "games, games, games", but they look better on 360.
It's time to buy a 360. The premium is just $350 and it has an amazing holiday lineup that begins with Bioshock this month. Also, Madden runs at 60 FPS on 360 and only 30 FPS on PS3. What do you get for $600?
You can never tell the tone of text, so sarcasm usually never works in writing. I was serious in that many PS3 "exclusives" have ended up on the 360. He spelled it with an "X", so I thought that he may have been hinting it would come to the 360.
By "Xclusive", he means it will eventually come to "X"box 360.

There is no such thing as a "Xbox" or "360" fanboy. Everyone that bought an Xbox was tired of Nintendo and seeking a different style than Sony. The most fanatical fans are Wii owners. Then you'll find some Sony fanatics and those that stick by Sony since they had a PS1 and PS2. Xbox & 360 owners ventured outside and took a chance on something new.
So, any comments you see from 360 owners are simply pointing out the fanaticism of other console owners.

How can anyone defend QTEs? How is pushing buttons during a cut-scene fun? You're not even enjoying the cut-scene because your focused on pressing buttons.
Didn't you hear John Carmack say that the PS3 was the lowest common denominator? He said that the PS3 was difficult to manage memory and "lagged" behind the PC and 360 in development.
If Sega lost money on Shenmue I & II, then I don't see how they could make a third one. However, they may be considering the global market and gambling on the 360.
Regardless, I would love to see Shenmue 3 on 360.
Back when Shenmue was released in 1999, every critic bashed the QTEs. Today, for some reason, QTEs are now ok. Itagaki is right to criticize the QTEs. I would rather just watch the cutscene.
GTAIV is big, but it won't drastically damage overall sales. (Except for sales of PS3)
Your right. This is what Denis Dyack of Silicon Knights was complaining about. Journalists give too much slack to certain companies. The Play reviewer is not only wrong, but extremely ignorant for revealing that he excused the bugs in the game. Honestly, if Halo 3 ran at 15 FPS, how could you examine the gameplay fairly? The game would be completely different at 30 FPS.
