Wow. Interesting conclusion.

I also rotate between two pads. It's easy to remove and put on a second pad, and it remembers all your settings.

Where are you? I know that they're hard to get hold of in the UK - my friend has been looking for one since they launched.

I pre-ordered one, and I have to say that it's great. Very robust feeling, and easy to use.

specialguest - I agree completely. Games aren't able (or choose not to) give the same amount of time to character building and development, hence why their movies feel flat and one dimensional.

I keep seeing this, and part of me is incredibly intrigued to try it!

I agree - Isolation truly was the only good Alien game, and a fantastic sequel to the original (unpopular opinion: I don't actually like James Cameron's "Aliens" that much).

Isolation was the first game I played on my PS4. Part of me wants to play through it again. But part of me really doesn't...

We're obviously coming at this from very different perspectives, so I'm going to bow out of this conversation, as I don't believe there's any likelihood that any agreement can be made.

However, I will say this: Comparing any current epidemic to previous epidemics is inherently naive. Doing so undermines the way that biology functions and risks the lives of hundreds of people. When hundreds of thousands of people's lives are at risk, it is foolish to cont...

@YellowGerbil
I apologise - my stats regarding swine flu were misinformed, however the rate of infection and deaths over the initial months is still greater for Covid 19 than Swine Flu.

However, regarding your initial point, China is in a unique situation, where they went into total lockdown immediately in order to prevent the spread. No other country is prepared to do the same, because it would upset people who would argue that the governments were overreacting. ...

Swine flu killed around 18,000 over the course of about 12 months. Covid 19 has killed 13,000 in 3 months, and by current projection, is only just getting started.

You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. But regardless of the potential statistics regarding survival rate, the virus still endangers the life of every single person on the planet, and drastic measures need to be taken.

Comparing it to the flu is not appropriate - yes, flu kills many people every year, but it is well understood and easier to control. Covid 19 is currently an unknown danger with the potential to kill millions across the world.

Unfort...

The story isn't bad, the characters are good, and the gameplay isn't terrible - although compared to the quality of Dark Souls' gameplay, it's rather poor.

I would argue that it does actually affect owners of the original consoles. Since the release of the Pro and X, there have been a number of games that have been optimised to run on those consoles, but suffer as a result on standard consoles.

Jedi: Fallen Order is the most recent that I am aware of. The lag and drop in FPS on the standard models makes some sections of the game much harder and more frustrating on those consoles than on the Pro and X.

Looking forward to using this in Borderlands 3 with my melee-based Amara build. Having to use R3 as my main source of damage output has already given me mild repetitive strain injury on at least one occasion...

I've gotta say, I agree with regards to Resistance 2 - that was a dull and heartless game in my opinion.

But I really enjoyed Resistance 3. It felt like a bit of a love-letter to Half-Life 2, and that isn't a bad thing...

It's frankly amazing that Bioshock is still having an impact in 2020. It just goes to show how much passion went in to ensuring the quality of this game.

Victory was a MUCH better title for a game set in Victorian London. Syndicate as a title was disappointing.

I can't help but wonder whether it would have sold better had it carried the name Victory...

I thought I was going to give up during my first two hours. Then I unlocked a shortcut and beat the Cleric Beast, and I was hooked. Couldn't get enough after that.

Didn't get the same from Dark Souls. Got about two thirds of the way through the first game, and although I didn't get stuck, I lost interest in the game. Shame.
