I guess Origins is more of a spin-off.

That said, if Origins can be ignored, I'd say it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that the first 3 Uncharted games could be considered a trilogy. Although this article suggests that the Tomb Raider games are superior, so maybe Uncharted wouldn't have made the list even if it was considered a trilogy.

I have to say, it probably is mine as well. Not much to criticise about the game to be honest!

To be completely fair, other than GAME, there are few UK retailers that conduct business on the high street that would stock such an item anyway.

I'm in full agreement. I quickly griw borednof massive open worlds.

Outer Worlds is the perfect example: lots of small maps instead of one big map. The game is much more focused as a result.

Underground is another possibility. But apart from that, I don't think there's anything other than space that they could do...

And the problem with space is how they keep it separate from all of the other System Shock inspired games such as Alien Isolation, Dead Space and Prey...

I do find it ironic that my favourite Assassins Creed game is the one that is arguably the least Assassin-focused. Ultimately, I think that realisation was one of the driving forces that made me give up on the series shortly after.

I played the whole game in the least assassin-like gear (full pirate costume), and approached every mission by simply walking into the group of enemies without any stealth whatsoever and shooting/cutting them all down. Was a heck of a lot more fu...

Sadly, I think I'm done with this series. I know a lot of people have enjoyed Origins and Odyssey (including my wife, who has played through both), but I have very little interest in them these days. I realise that the likes of Syndicate and Unity are unpopular entries in the series, but I find them much more refined than what I've experienced of the most recent two.

The game even had potential upon release. It wasn't perfect, but the controls are some of the most satisfying I have experienced in this sort of game.

Shame that the environments, story, missions and general gameplay aspects were simply appalling.

It may not be as complex as Fallout (although it actually plays much more smoothly...), but that's because Outer Worlds had a fraction of the budget that Fallout games have,

My first play through of MGS4 took 22.5 hours.

Second playthrough i skipped the cutscenes and it took 5.5 hours.

I find the inFamous franchise to be a rather strange case... All three main games (and two side-games) were fantastic, and worth playing in themselves. However, the series never really seemed to reach its peak. While inFamous 2 was great (probably my favourite), the story seemed rushed, as though they'd crammed their plans for a trilogy into just a single sequel.

Then Second Son felt like the start of a franchise reboot that never really happened.

Suc...

If you're having trouble, you can lock onto a planet with L3, then press up (I think) to engage autopilot. The game will then automatically control your ship to get it into orbit.

Get the codes from one if the guys in the observatory. Then return to the starting point and ride the lift up. Get inside the spacecraft, then "buckle up".

Holding R2 will then launch you into space.

Unfortunately, the title of this article makes it seem like much more than it is. In reality, it seems almost identical to the Soulsborne mechanic of "whatever killed you took your stuff, and you have to kill it to reclaim it".

The only part that sounds like the Nemesis system is the gloating, but it seems as though that is just a post-death loading screen type event, like those in the Arkham games.

Please don't get hyped up into thinking th...

Disappointing in many ways... but if they're going at it as a sequel to Origins, this makes sense. Which also means we may see Troy Baker as the Joker.

I LOVED the multiplayer in TLOU. Was having such a blast with it. Then disaster! I got kicked out of three games in a row due to sudden poor connection. Basically destroyed all my progress.

Oh, I'm enjoying the guns... I use them about 10% of the time, but the melee approach is surprisingly fun and refreshing.

Exactly. And the problem is that Amara is probably the character in the history of the series that is most at home in the middle of a battle. Having to charge up a shotgun while in your enemy's face does not fit her play style at all.

Needless to say, I don't really use guns anymore as Amara...

Only one Arkham game in the list actually - Arkham City at number 1.

And no mention of the Telltale series.

Playing through Borderlands GOTY edition recently made me realise how unique Borderlands is. It may be over 10 years old, but it still plays as a fresh and modern-feeling experience.
