Yeah, you're almost 100% right, as it's USUALLY the case.
Like I said, I WAS hesitant (and at the moment, regretful). The only reason I did it was because I needed an third title to fulfill their "Trade in Three, Get it Free" offer.
The other two titles were:
-R6 Vegas for PSP, which I picked up from Wal-Mart for $8 (but should still be avoided like the PLAGUE at any cost!!!)
-Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (too buggy, and 3-day-long ...
Sorry..double post.
Yeah, I'm wondering if I'm going to do the same (heh, heh, I think that Chimera figure might be the deal-breaker!)
Ironically, not too long ago, I (hesitantly) traded in Resistance along with two other games to EB in exchange for a pre-ordered and pre-paid copy of R2.
My logic was that I'd be able to hold out until Resistance 2 arrived, and should I ever want to play Resistance again, I'd be able to easily pick it for about $20 bucks.
Man, that's the one...
Someone who spends undying energy and effort to continuously berate a gaming system and its respective fans - for which they claim to have no interest in...
Sounds like a loser.
I wonder what sorry ass would actually keep trolling PS3 threads just to keep getting his pitiful ass pwned over and over again.
...Oh wait.
"Your eye can't catch more than 60 hz"
Sorry, but I've got to wholeheartedly disagree merely from personal experience.
Whenever one of those old standard CRT computer monitors is set to the nominal 60Hz, I can spot it from a mile away. As a matter of fact, the emitting flicker drives me absolutely NUTS, to the point of having to up the refresh through Windows' Display Properties to avoid the distraction.
Same thing goes for my 1080i Hitachi pr...
That sweet, sweet, sound of the Bullseye...
Makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over!
Tried it last night...just couldn't get into it.
Demo deleted immediately thereafter.
I used to actually LIKE X-Play and the occasional dose of AOTS.
But things have gotten way too silly. And although I'm usually not much of a conspiracy theorist, I just can't help but get the impression that there's too, too much of a bias towards Microsoft.
Although I can recount numerous moments that made me go "hmmmmm", there was one amusing one on AOTS shortly following the release of Ratchet and Clank.
Kevin indicated in passing that he o...
Multiple accounts.
It's gotten so ridiculous, I think I'm willing to donate a small monetary value to the website if the site admins would guarantee IP banning.
Unfortunately, doing so would likely decimate the existing member base to about only sixteen people. ;)
You soooo hit the nail on the head!
Bubbles!
Sure, the author's points may be arguably valid, but it sound more like a prosecutor's opening statement for a murder trial, than it does a well-thought-out contemplation piece.
If we're to base it solely upon the author's evidence, then Snake would be guilty as charged.
Sorry, but Solid Snake and the Metal Gear Solid series are both way, waaaaay to complex and convoluted to draw such a harsh black-and-white conclusion.
Although I only skimmed through th...
When I was first introduced to their site some few years ago, I actually thought it to be somewhat of a cool & hip gaming site with some potential.
Unfortunately, I was wrong.
They've turned out to be nothing more than a bunch of consistently negative, glass-half-empty whiners and complainers who do nothing but annoy - especially with reference to the Sony camp.
I've got nothing against sarcastic humor. Actually, I find it quite entertaining. But w...
I was hoping to get a demo to help determine whether my pre-order for this game was justified.
"don't be too sure.. "
LOL...Took the words right outta my mouth!
Although I'm quite confident it's going to be a hit, and I am admittedly curious about it, I have to agree that I'm also in the minority along with you, and not eagerly rubbing my palms together in anticipation for the launch of Home.
Not because I think it's going to be bad; quite the opposite, actually. But to be honest, I just don't have the time (or patience) for it.
That said, there IS an overwhelming amount of teens/young adults who are just going to gobble up...
"The other 9 backed up and quit because they saw where it was ending."
Rumour has it that HE WAS the other nine guys. :P
Damn, I was hoping to sell you mine! ;)
The likes of Red Steel was one of my primary motivators for picking up my Wii at launch...and we all know how THAT turned out. :(
Kinda paradoxical how your comment precisely described...well, your comment.
That's Dr. Emmet Brown...renowned time traveler and brilliant creator of the Flux Capacitor!
